Welcome to Ocean Dunes 2109 - Indulge your inner spirit at Searenity! Our cheerful vacation home is ready to welcome you to a place of comfort with high quality, tasteful furnishings that you can sink into and relax. Bring your favorite recipes to prepare in our updated kitchen with high quality fixtures, appliances, and custom tilework. Pamper yourself in our beautiful bedrooms and upgraded bathrooms; your retreat is ready to greet you, right here in front of the Coquina Rocks.

Welcome to the highly desirable Ocean Dunes resort! Our vacation rental is located on the oceanfront, giving you access to an expanse of stunning beachfront views at the southern tip of Pleasure Island. Enjoy the amenities of the resort, including multiple outdoor pools, tennis courts, shuffle board, grills, and playgrounds for the kids. After a day at the beach, visit the recreation center for an indoor pool, spa, sauna, exercise room and clubhouse. Relax, unwind, and make lasting memories at this beautiful destination! Note: there are no facilities at Ocean Dunes for charging golf carts. Ocean Dunes covered parking is not suitable for large SUVs, please seek a first come first serve visitor parking spot for large vehicles. Always use your parking pass!

Assigned covered parking for two vehicles, exterior stairs to property level.
Elevator to property level.
Fitness Center directly across the street from our parking lot in walking distance.
The Rec Center pool is opened year-round with the exception of holidays or for any routine or emergency maintenance scheduled at the Rec Center.

Parking:

Uncovered Assigned Parking Labeled 2109 - Across from Building. Parking may be tight in peak seasons, small to mid-size vehicles are recommended.

Guest parking available on a first-come, first-serve basis

Linens - Beds will be made with clean sheets, bath towels will be laying on the end of the beds, bathmats provided in each bathroom, kitchen towel and dish sponge provided. (Guest will need to make any trundle, sofa beds, or top bunks.)

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Things to bring:
Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Off Season Check-ins begin at 3 pm and are guaranteed by 5 pm
Check-out is by 10 am.
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Guest Access:
Electronic entry.

House Rules:
No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities
No smoking
You must be at least 25 to rent this unit.

Elevator Policies:
Please note, the elevator is for convenience only and does not guarantee ADA Compliance or Wheelchair accessibility. Although elevators are checked on a regular basis, Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable if the elevator is not operating or functioning properly during your stay. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

Pool Notice:
Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

Pet Policy:
No pets allowed.
**Per Ocean Dunes HOA, no travelers are permitted to bring pets. Owners only.**

Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking
- After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation debit.
- After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re-rented. If premises are re-rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation debit.

Things to do:
Adventure awaits. Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or enjoy a relaxing ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a quaint little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak-covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famous Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking, and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Whether it’s exploring activities on the island, enjoying the ocean views, or enjoying a cocktail by sunset from your own private balcony, Pleasure Island offers diversion for every enthusiast!

"Stayed in 2109 clean, spacious and right on the ocean! We stayed the last week of March, not busy at all which is exactly what we wanted! No starter supplies at all so make sure to be prepared! Only complaints are the elevator was not working, and hauling all of our luggage and groceries and every time we shopped up 4 flights of stairs was awful! We definitely wouldn’t stay again unless elevator is working, otherwise had a great stay! All beds were comfortable, ample kitchen supplies, deck was very nice to relax on. I would not want any floor other then the top, top decks get full sun. Check in and out was very convenient. The rec room is about 2 blocks away, across the road… it appears to be on this property, but it is not. That was kind of inconvenient.

"Our family had a wonderful stay at this condo. All amenities are updated and decor is modern and clean. Location is perfect-right on the beach with a beautiful view. The aquarium is only a 4 minute drive away. we'll definitely stay again!

"Overall we had a great experience in this unit. We had stayed in Ocean Dunes last year in a two bedroom unit, but brought the grandparents along this year so we upgraded to the three bedroom. The views were great from the porch, the AC and kitchen appliances worked great, and the ease of access to the beach was perfect for us and the kids. The unit is well renovated and overall in good shape Our only complaints were that the unit could have used a bit more extra cleaning when we got there, as well as some of the dishes. It wasn't enough for us to give management a call, but something worth noting.

"Our family had a great time at this condo. The beach access was close and one of the Ocean Dunes pools was directly across the street and a very short walk. We would certainly stay here again. The only complaint I really have is that the pillows and the comforters for the beds did not smell the best at all. I do wonder how often those are washed. If you have room, i would certainly recommend taking your own.

"This place is absolutely lovely. Spotless, recently renovated with a wonderfully appointed kitchen. The first time I have ever been at a beach rental where I thought "I want to get a set of these pans!" The TV in the living room was great and perfect for watching Stanley Cup hockey in the evenings. The view from the large deck is wonderful, and we were fortunate to have near-perfect weather during our stay. There are outdoor pools at the complex and access to a rec center that we did not use because we spent all of our time on the beach! Highly recommend Searenity for your Kure Beach stay.
