A Message from the President

A Message from Our President
When I became President of Sea Coast Rentals in 2015, I had a simple belief:
“Property Management should reduce stress, not create it.”
Since that time, Sea Coast Rentals has grown to manage more than 1,000 long-term rental homes and nearly 200 vacation properties across our coastal communities. That growth has been intentional and earned — built on professionalism, accountability, and a commitment to treating every property as if it were our own.
We are a locally owned company, and that matters. Our leadership team and employees live and work in the same communities as our clients. We understand the local markets, the neighborhoods, and the realities of owning property here. By pairing that local knowledge with professional systems, advanced technology, and an experienced in-house team, we are able to deliver a level of service that consistently exceeds expectations.
At Sea Coast Rentals, we operate by the Golden Rule. We make decisions with integrity, transparency, and respect — for our owners, our residents and guests, and our employees. When issues arise, we act quickly. When questions come up, we communicate clearly. And when our clients place their trust in us, we take that responsibility seriously.
Our goal is simple: to provide peace of mind. Whether you own a long-term rental or a vacation property, you should feel confident knowing your investment is being professionally managed, thoughtfully maintained, and cared for by a local team that genuinely has your best interests at heart.
Thank you for considering Sea Coast Rentals. We would be honored to earn your trust.

How It Started
Our story began more than 30 years ago with a small vacation rental office on the cozy island of Carolina Beach, also known as Pleasure Island. From the very beginning, we focused on creating welcoming stays for families and travelers who loved the coast. As our reputation grew, we expanded into managing long-term properties and quickly opened new offices in Wilmington, Leland, Hampstead, Jacksonville, and Brunswick County. Today, we are proud to represent property owners all the way to Washington, NC, continuing a tradition of service and hospitality that started with one small office.
Over the years, our vacation rental teams discovered the joy of helping families create lifelong memories by the sea. Because of this passion, we expanded into Topsail Island in 2020 and Oak Island in 2023. Each location brought exciting opportunities to connect with guests and owners who share a love of North Carolina’s coastline. Our staff live on or near the islands where they work, so they know the community inside and out. Many of them grew up on these beaches, spending summers in the surf and sand. That personal connection shapes the way we care for our guests and properties.
How It’s Going
When you crave a quiet, simple, family-focused vacation, Topsail Island is the perfect escape. This 28-mile barrier island rivals the beauty and tranquility of the Outer Banks but offers a more intimate, vintage feel. Visitors love the slower pace, uncrowded beaches, and small-town charm that define the Topsail experience. Surf City, in the center of the island, provides convenient access to shops, dining, and the Intercoastal Waterway bridge. At the southern tip, Topsail Beach gives guests even more peace and privacy, with calm streets and postcard-worthy sunsets.
Carolina Beach, by contrast, offers a lively and fun-filled atmosphere. Located on the southern stretch of Wilmington’s beaches, it is famous for its bustling boardwalk. Families love the carnival rides, Ferris wheel, fireworks, and seasonal festivals that create nonstop entertainment. The broad sandy beaches are ideal for swimming, sunbathing, or building sandcastles. Carolina Beach has a festive, family-friendly vibe that attracts visitors year after year.
For guests who prefer a slower pace, Kure Beach provides the perfect balance. At the very southern tip of Pleasure Island, where the Cape Fear River meets the Atlantic Ocean, Kure Beach offers quiet charm. It features shaded wooded areas, historic Fort Fisher, and the beloved North Carolina Aquarium. Families and nature enthusiasts enjoy the combination of education, history, and outdoor adventure that Kure Beach brings.
Oak Island completes the picture with its nostalgic, back-to-nature setting. This 12-mile island lies south of the Cape Fear River near the charming town of Southport. Oak Island is the place for guests who want to slow down, savor meals at home, and spend days immersed in nature. The focus here is simple: the ocean, the sand, and the serenity of an unhurried beach lifestyle. Visitors love the laid-back vibe, easy water access, and the chance to reconnect with what matters most.
No matter which coastal destination you choose, our team is here to help you experience the best of North Carolina’s beaches. Each island has its own character, from lively boardwalk fun to peaceful retreats, yet all share the same natural beauty and welcoming community spirit. Whether you are planning a quick weekend, a long family vacation, or even an extended stay, we invite you to discover your perfect coastal getaway with us.
