Welcome to Ocean Dunes 508! This charming vacation rental is an end unit with many windows, providing natural light and beautiful oceanfront views. The home is small and cozy, making it perfect for a peaceful getaway. With new flooring and a new sofa bed, your will be right at home on the beachfront! Enjoy the sound of the waves and feel the sand between your toes. This vacation rental is the perfect spot for a peaceful beach retreat.

Welcome to the highly desirable Ocean Dunes resort! Our vacation rental is located on the oceanfront, giving you access to an expanse of stunning beachfront views at the southern tip of Pleasure Island. Enjoy the amenities of the resort, including multiple outdoor pools, tennis courts, shuffleboard, grills, and playgrounds for the kids. After a day at the beach, visit the recreation center for an indoor pool, spa, sauna, exercise room and clubhouse. Relax, unwind, and make lasting memories at this beautiful destination! Note: there are no facilities at Ocean Dunes for charging golf carts. Ocean Dunes covered parking is not suitable for large SUVs, please seek a first come first serve visitor parking spot for large vehicles. Always use your parking pass!

Ground Level:

Parking: Assigned Parking Labeled 0508 - Under Building. Exterior stairs to property level.
Fitness Center across the street from the 2100 building. The Rec Center pool is open year-round with the exception of holidays or for any routine or emergency maintenance scheduled at the Rec Center.

Property Level:

Kitchen: Upgraded appliances, fully equipped.

Dining Room: Table w/ seating for 4.

Living Room: Sofa, 2 chairs, TV, Queen Sofa Sleeper

Deck: Oceanfront, table w/ seating for 4, 2 side chairs

Bedroom: Queen bed

Bathroom: Shower/tub combo

Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and laying on the end of the beds.

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Things to bring:
Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Off Season Check-ins begin at 3 pm and are guaranteed by 5 pm
Check-out is by 10 am.
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Guest Access:
Electronic entry.

House Rules:
No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities
No smoking
You must be at least 25 to rent this unit.

Pool Notice:
Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

Pet Policy:
No pets allowed.

Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking
- After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation debit.
- After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re-rented. If premises are re-rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation debit.

Adventure awaits. Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or enjoy a relaxing ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a quaint little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak-covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famous Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking, and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Whether it’s exploring activities on the island, enjoying the ocean views, or enjoying a cocktail by sunset from your own private balcony, Pleasure Island offers diversion for every enthusiast!

Explore the treasures of Carolina Beach, ranked one of the top 10 boardwalks in the country by Food & Wine magazine. One of the last remaining beach boardwalks on the East Coast, it includes a variety of restaurants, an arcade, shops, ice cream, Famous Britts Donuts, bars, and more! During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, carnival rides, bingo, family nights, and events like the weekly fireworks and concert series. Annual off-season events include the Cape Fear Kite Festival, Christmas by the Sea, and the Island of Lights Festival.

"This was our first time in North Carolina & our first experience with Airbnb. Both did not disappoint. Justin answered all my questions very quickly. Our unit was so clean and beautiful. I loved going out on the deck each morning to view the ocean and listen to the waves. The unit was easy to find and the parking was great. Everything was just amazing in the unit from the water pressure in the shower to the ice maker in the fridge. I loved that the table on the deck had an umbrella for some shade. There are books to read, games to play & videos for the kids stored in the living room. We will definitely be returning and working with Justin again.

"Nice condo but felt very dated. The location is beautiful but don’t try to get an Uber! We ended up walking to restaurants which was about 25 minutes. The host was great, everything you could ever need covered was communicated multiple times!

"Perfect beachfront location. Easy access to the beach. I had a problem with the sliding glass door and the service center took care of it right away. Prompt response, friendly, and the repairman had it resolved within a couple of hours. The rest of my stay was thoroughly enjoyable.

"We really enjoyed our weekend stay at this condo. The layout was super cute, although it took us a few hours to realize the chairs were actually recliners haha. The view were awesome. I used to live in this area years ago.. so it was like stepping back in time. It brought back wonderful memories. The beach was the same as I remembered. The town of Kure Beach had some new additions but still offers a small town feel with lots of great places to eat! We loved the Ocean View Restaurant and ate there several times. The kitchen staff/cooks sang and danced to the songs on the radio, making a fun start to the day, and of course Freddie's never disappoints! Even though it rained during our weekend, it was hard to leave and go home.

"My husband and I loved being right on the ocean where it was literally in our "backyard." We enjoyed listening to the waves, watching the tide come in and out. Kure Beach is less crowded than other beaches we've been to. We enjoyed the feeling of spaciousness.

"The location was amazing with the ocean view and easy access to the beach! Very clean space and great amenities like recreational center with pool and hot tub down the street. It's a quiet place too. Communication with host was responsive. Just one little thing is, some of the utensils and cookware have rust on it. But I can imagine it is hard to prevent rust being so close to the waters. FYI, you will need to bring your own toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, hand soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, and trash bags. This rental did not provide any of the above, but they graciously provided us with one trash bag. For check-in, you will have to drive to their office to retrieve the keys, which is about 10 min down the road.

"I would gladly go again. Everything was great! Clean, well maintained and excellent quality. Hand rails were stout, trash pick up timely, deliveries on time! Great staff to work with. "This unit suites us perfectly! We love the location and the fact it is an end unit. The décor is not your usual wicker furniture beach variety - we really like that! The kitchen has top of the line amenities - a rare find in beach properties. The view of the ocean from both the living room and the deck cannot be beat. We will be back!

"This unit has a beautiful view! It's close to the pool and only one building away from the beach access point. The murphy bed in the living room was comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. Check in and check out was very easy and took only a few minutes. Can't wait to return next summer !
