Greet the beach every morning with a cup of coffee looking over the Atlantic Ocean. With updated, premium kitchen cabinetry and granite countertops, eating at home will be a pleasure. You will be living in luxury with high-end wood furniture and hardwood floors. Fully upholstered, soft-sided living room furniture and high-quality bedding will have you feeling at home in supreme comfort. HD flat-screen wall-mounted TVs with complimentary Wifi create an open space while allowing you to work from your vacation home if you have to!

Welcome to the highly desirable Ocean Dunes resort! Our vacation rental is located on the oceanfront, giving you access to an expanse of stunning beachfront views at the southern tip of Pleasure Island. Enjoy the amenities of the resort, including multiple outdoor pools, shuffleboard, grills, and playgrounds for the kids. After a day at the beach, visit the recreation center for an indoor pool, spa, sauna, exercise room and clubhouse. Relax, unwind, and make lasting memories at this beautiful destination! Note: there are no facilities at Ocean Dunes for charging golf carts. Ocean Dunes covered parking is not suitable for large SUVs, please seek a first come first serve visitor parking spot for large vehicles. Always use your parking pass!

Assigned covered parking for two vehicles, and exterior stairs to the property level.

The Rec Center pool is open year-round except holidays or for any routine or emergency maintenance scheduled at the Rec Center.

Ensuite Sun Deck with chaise lounges and side chairs.
Guest Bedroom Suite: Queen bed, Ensuite bath. 50-inch smart TV.
Twin Size Rollaway with sheets provided.
Exercise Bike.
Guest Ensuite Bath: Bathtub with shower, single vanity.
Hallway Laundry Closet with Washer and Dryer

Parking:
Assigned Parking Labeled 1401 - Under Building. Guest parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis

Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and lying on the end of the beds.

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Things to bring:
Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Check-out is by 10 am.
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Guest Access:
Electronic entry.

House Rules:
No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities
No smoking
You must be at least 25 to rent this unit.

Pool Notice:
Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

Pet Policy:
No pets allowed.
**Per Ocean Dunes HOA, no travelers are permitted to bring pets. Owners only.**

Cancellation Policy:
We want to make sure you’re aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.

Neighborhood

Adventure awaits on Pleasure Island. Exploring the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, home to incredible coastal wildlife, or take the scenic car ferry across the Cape Fear River for a relaxing visit to the charming town of Southport where quaint streets are filled with unique antique shops and galleries. History lovers can walk the scenic, live‑oak‑lined trails of the Fort Fisher State Historic Site, where Civil War bunkers still stand. Nature enthusiasts will love the island’s two state‑managed coastal preserves: Carolina Beach State Park, home to rare Venus flytraps found naturally only in this region, and the Fort Fisher State Recreation Area, known for pristine beaches, marshes, and wildlife viewing. Both offer beautiful opportunities for hiking, paddling, fishing, and spotting pelicans or even nesting loggerhead sea turtles.

After a day outdoors, unwind on your private balcony with a sunset cocktail, or head into town to explore the best of Carolina Beach. In summer, enjoy weekly fireworks and live entertainment, carnival rides, family nights, and Flamingo BINGO. Getting Around

Getting around Pleasure Island is a breeze! While parking can be limited in peak season, especially in popular spots, paid private or public parking is available. We recommend exploring Carolina Beach and Kure Beach on foot or by bike – they're super walkable and bike-friendly. You'll find safe pedestrian and bike routes, including the Island Greenway. Renting a golf cart or bike is easy, too, with several local rental companies. Golf carts are one of the easiest ways to cruise around the island. Rentals are simple to arrange, and once you're behind the wheel, you can zip along any road posted 35 mph or under.

"This beachfront rental in Kure Beach was absolutely perfect for our family. It comfortably slept our group of 7 with plenty of space for everyone to relax and unwind. The layout was ideal for families, and having direct beach access made it so easy to go back and forth with kids. The home was clean, well stocked, and thoughtfully set up for a stress-free stay. "Had an incredible stay! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with views of the endless blue ocean that instantly made us feel relaxed and at peace. The location couldn't have been more perfect—just steps from the sand and close to great restaurants, shops, and coastal activities. The home itself was beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. Stylish yet cozy, it had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. The living area opened up to a private balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee watching the waves roll in. The master bedroom also has breathtaking views and the cozy bed + sounds of the ocean made for incredible sleep each night. This place is the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and unbeatable oceanfront views. We didn’t want to leave and are already counting down the days until we can come back!

"This was actually the third time that we have stayed at this property with our family. The location is perfect and the views are spectacular. The beach access is right next to the condo. The pool Is a short walk which we took advantage of every day after the beach. The recreation department is across the street and we were able to use the indoor pool during bad weather. The kitchen is well stocked and has new appliances. The living room and dining room space is open and easily accommodates my family. The bedrooms are large with plenty of storage. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, each with a tub, which is great for the grandbabies. It’s a nice perk to have the washer and dryer available. Sea Coast Rentals has been great to work with. Check in is easy, the condo is clean and any questions or concerns are addressed quickly. We will definitely be coming back!
