Welcome to Ocean Dunes 2123! Greet each spectacular sunrise from your bedroom deck overlooking the rare coquina rock formation. Surround yourself with unbeatable ocean views from bounteous living area windows or outside on the living room-covered deck. Subtle spa tones surround you in our calm and casual family room. Cooking is a pleasure in our remodeled kitchen with upgraded cabinetry, granite countertops, upgraded fixtures, lighting, and stainless steel new appliances. A new mattress in the Primary Bedroom Suite was added in Spring 2024!

Welcome to the highly desirable Ocean Dunes resort! Our vacation rental is located on the oceanfront, giving you access to an expanse of stunning beachfront views at the southern tip of Pleasure Island. Enjoy the amenities of the resort, including multiple outdoor pools, shuffleboard, grills, and playgrounds for the kids. After a day at the beach, visit the recreation center for an indoor pool, spa, sauna, exercise room and clubhouse. Relax, unwind, and make lasting memories at this beautiful destination! Note: there are no facilities at Ocean Dunes for charging golf carts. Ocean Dunes covered parking is not suitable for large SUVs, please seek a first come first serve visitor parking spot for large vehicles. Always use your parking pass!

Ground Level:
Assigned covered parking for two vehicles, and exterior stairs to the property level.
Elevator to property level
The Fitness Center is directly across the street from our parking lot in walking distance.
The Rec Center pool is open year-round except for holidays or any routine or emergency maintenance scheduled at the Rec Center.

Property Level:
Kitchen: full kitchen, stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, shaker cabinets, tile backsplash, seating for 4 at the bar.
Dining Room: seating for 4 at the table, with bar top seating for 4.
Living Room: Oceanview, large TV, 1 sleeper sofa, and 2 side chairs.
Deck: access from the living room and master bedroom. Overlooks the ocean. 2 high-top chairs, 4 Adirondack chairs, and 1 lounge chair.
Washer and dryer: located in the kitchen.
Primary Bedroom Suite: Oceanview, queen-size bed, private access to the patio, TV. Ensuite Bathroom: vanity, walk-in shower.
Bedroom 1: Two twin beds, TV.
Full Bathroom: vanity, shower/tub combo.

Parking: Assigned Parking Labeled 2123 - Under Building. Guest parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis

Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and lying on the end of the beds.

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Things to bring:
Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Check-out is by 10 am.
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Guest Access:
Electronic entry.

House Rules:
No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities
No smoking
You must be at least 25 to rent this unit.

Elevator Policies:
Please note, the elevator is for convenience only and does not guarantee ADA Compliance or Wheelchair accessibility. Although elevators are checked on a regular basis, Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable if the elevator is not operating or functioning properly during your stay. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

Pool Notice:
Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

Pet Policy:
No pets allowed.
**Per Ocean Dunes HOA, no travelers are permitted to bring pets. Owners only.**

Cancellation Policy:
We want to make sure you’re aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.

Adventure awaits on Pleasure Island. Exploring the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, home to incredible coastal wildlife, or take the scenic car ferry across the Cape Fear River for a relaxing visit to the charming town of Southport where quaint streets are filled with unique antique shops and galleries. History lovers can walk the scenic, live‑oak‑lined trails of the Fort Fisher State Historic Site, where Civil War bunkers still stand. Nature enthusiasts will love the island’s two state‑managed coastal preserves: Carolina Beach State Park, home to rare Venus flytraps found naturally only in this region, and the Fort Fisher State Recreation Area, known for pristine beaches, marshes, and wildlife viewing. Getting Around

Getting around Pleasure Island is a breeze! While parking can be limited in peak season, especially in popular spots, paid private or public parking is available. We recommend exploring Carolina Beach and Kure Beach on foot or by bike – they're super walkable and bike-friendly. You'll find safe pedestrian and bike routes, including the Island Greenway. Renting a golf cart or bike is easy, too, with several local rental companies. Golf carts are one of the easiest ways to cruise around the island. Rentals are simple to arrange, and once you're behind the wheel, you can zip along any road posted 35 mph or under.

"This home was beautiful, it literally looks as beautiful in the pictures as it does in real life. The furniture was very comfortable, the beds were great to sleep on and the master shower was great. The view was breath taking. It is a beautiful location and no issues with booking or checking in.

"Had a great time at Justin’s place. Beach view and access. Quiet and comfortable. Spent days on the beach and at the pools. There’s big rock formations on the beach that were fun to explore and you can walk down the beach and swim. We explored fort fisher area and went to the aquarium. Both in a morning was enough time. Hurricane Alley and Carolina beach boardwalk had good beach food and overlooks the ocean. Stoked had good seafood and you can sit on the channel water. Great place to stay!

"This condo was nicely updated and really clean. Kitchen was well stocked and there was ample seating on the deck. Ocean views from the deck can't be beat and the beach wasn't too crowded since this is so far down the island. My only complaint is that the beds were VERY uncomfortable - I like a firm mattress but it felt like we were sleeping directly on box springs (we did not attempt the sofa bed, just the beds in the bedrooms). Great communications with Sea Coast Rentals and check-in/out was super easy.

"Early Bird Special - Book now until May 31 for 20% off the rent for any weekly Reservation ID #51172 We enjoyed our stay very much, even though the weather was terrible. This condo is as advertised; definitely not fancy, but generally in good shape. The appliances and bathroom facilities all worked great. Plenty of seating to eat and hang out. There is a fold-out couch as well as queen bed and 2 twins. Plenty of hot water. Bed comfort was maybe 2 out of 5, probably the biggest drawback. Maybe bring your own sheets if you have room in your luggage. Basically it feels like the owners have put the absolute cheapest options in for bedding because this is SUPER BEACH FRONT, like it is going to be swept into the ocean at any moment--why would you invest any more than necessary. They are literally doing beach restoration under the building itself and in the buildings next door. So you are going to get a fantastic beachfront experience; the tide comes up right under the deck. The views are to die for. You can definitely hear the neighbors upstairs if they choose to walk around. Because of the beach restoration, you do have to walk clear around the building to get to the beach access, but it's not that far. Communication with Sea Coast Rentals was confusing at first (emails left and right from all kinds of people), but as the date of the visit drew near, things seemed to straighten out. The beach is pretty quiet, not huge crowds of people at Memorial Day at least, although as I said, the weather was terrible. Overall, great beach front experience.

"We ended up in 2123B as this place was double booked. The rental was one of the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in. Furniture was nice and comfy, not “well used” as we’ve seen with past rentals. Very nice place.

Great Family Rental at Kure Beach!

"We are a family of 4 with a 2 and a 5 year old, and we loved our stay in this unit. The covered parking gave a great place to leave dirty beach toys, and the proximity to the beach/waves could not be beat. The rocks made for beautiful scenery and there was wider beach available if you go down the beach access and go to the left. Condo was clean and decorated nicely. The queen bed was very firm, but again the ocean views couldn't be beat. The covered deck was very spacious. The aquarium and Fort were both very close. We rented bikes from Troy S. and they delivered and picked up, and the fort/boardwalk/etc made great low-traffic places to ride. We rode down to the Kure Beach boardwalk most days, and got coffee at the Happie Hippie- also highly recommend. Carolina Beach and then Wilmington are both short/easy drives so there were no shortage of food and activity options nearby! We will definitely stay here again!
