The oceanfront is key to your healing, whether enjoying coffee from your private master bedroom deck access, or dining by the sea with the entire family on our brand-new oceanfront deck furniture. Take comfort in the fresh air with an iWave-R self-cleaning ionized air treatment filter.

Welcome to the highly desirable Ocean Dunes resort! Our vacation rental is located on the oceanfront, giving you access to an expanse of stunning beachfront views at the southern tip of Pleasure Island. Enjoy the amenities of the resort, including multiple outdoor pools, tennis courts, shuffleboard, grills, and playgrounds for the kids. After a day at the beach, visit the recreation center for an indoor pool, spa, sauna, exercise room, and clubhouse. Relax, unwind, and make lasting memories at this beautiful destination! Note: there are no facilities at Ocean Dunes for charging golf carts.

Ground Level:
Assigned covered parking for two vehicles, and exterior stairs to the property level.
Fitness Center across the street from the 2100 building.
The Rec Center pool is open year-round except holidays or for any routine or emergency maintenance scheduled at the Rec Center.

Deck: Oceanfront, Outdoor dining for 6, 2 tall chairs, glider rocker, chaise.

Kitchen: Bar seating for 4

Dining Area: Table w/ seating for 6

Living Room: TV, couch, 3 chairs, deck access

Primary Bedroom Suite: Queen bed, TV, ceiling fan, deck access with settee. Ensuite Bathroom: Remodeled in November 2023. Custom tile shower with pull spray shower head, vanity, and toilet.

Guest Bedroom 1: California King with Twin Loft, TV

Guest Bedroom 2: 2 Twin Beds, TV, ceiling fan

Guest Bathroom: Bathtub with Shower, vanity, and toilet.

Deck: Oceanfront, Outdoor dining w/ seating for 6, 2 pub chairs, Chaise lounge, glider rocker.

Parking:

Assigned Parking Labeled 2007 - Under Building

Guest parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis

Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and laying on the end of the beds.

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Things to bring:
Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Off Season Check-ins begin at 3 pm and are guaranteed by 5 pm
Check-out is by 10 am.
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Guest Access:
Electronic entry.

House Rules:
No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities
No smoking
You must be at least 25 to rent this unit.

Pool Notice:
Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

Pet Policy:
No pets allowed.
**Per Ocean Dunes HOA, no travelers are permitted to bring pets. Owners only.**

Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking
- After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee
- After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re-rented. If premises are re-rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee.

Things to do:
Adventure awaits. Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or enjoy a relaxing ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a quaint little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak-covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famous Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking, and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Whether it’s exploring activities on the island, enjoying the ocean views, or enjoying a cocktail by sunset from your own private balcony, Pleasure Island offers diversion for every enthusiast!

Explore the treasures of Carolina Beach, ranked one of the top 10 boardwalks in the country by Food & Wine magazine. One of the last remaining beach boardwalks on the East Coast, it includes a variety of restaurants, an arcade, shops, ice cream, Famous Britts Donuts, bars, and more! During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, carnival rides, bingo, family nights, and events like the weekly fireworks and concert series. Rent a Jeep, bicycle, or golf cart as the most convenient ways to navigate the island. "Been staying at Ocean Dunes for many many years. Its a wonderful place to take a beach vacations. I have many great beach memories there and plan on going back this this year. The staff (Ally and Nadia) are great to work with. They answered all my questions and sent help when I had trouble with streaming TV's. Not use to streaming, so they sent tech's to my condo to explain how to operate the TV's....That was Great!! Very impressed!

"If you like being steps away from the beach, hearing the relaxing crash of the waves and 180 degree ocean view... this is your place. I cannot relay what a dream this place is...It is adorably appointed, immaculate and has all the thoughtful hospitable details one could need. It fit out large family of 7 so comfortably and we had the most special time by the sea. YOU are right next to the access point/ walk way to the beach and can easily wash the sand off before heading in. All was so comfortable .. thankful for our time at Beach Therapy and look forward to the dream of returning. If you have the opportunity to stay here....don't pass up♡

"My family and I have rented condos at Ocean Dunes for years! When we eventually discovered Beach Therapy, it became our place to stay every year! It's in a great location, in beautiful condition with frequent updates! This year it was a gorgeous new walkin shower! The deck is loaded with seating for all. Along with the beach, this condo is also within walking distance to an outdoor as well as the indoor pool! Wonderful location!

"The location is fantastic and worth paying for. It is really great having a shaded deck in the afternoon. The kitchen has lots of pots/pans (& a blender!) and all the utensils you could need - including measuring cups/spoons. We'd stay here again, and we don't always say this.

Literally steps from the beach!

"Our group of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids) had a great stay at this location. Literally steps from the beach! Beautiful views of the ocean. Our unit was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes. Plenty of restaurants, shops, etc. close by. An easy walk across the street for indoor pool access. Some things to note: this particular part of the beach has some large rock formations (shown in pictures in the listing). While these are beautiful to look at and fun to walk around and explore, they don't make it easy for swimming/boogie boarding right in front of this unit, so be prepared to set up a little further to the left or right to avoid them. We even drove to the Fort Fisher beach access for a couple of the days for a wider beach and easier swimming. Also, being a bottom unit we heard everything in the unit above us, so be prepared for some noise (depending on renters of course). Overall I would def recommend this location for a great beach stay! We were sad to leave!

"Not one complaint about Ocean Dunes 2007. We've stayed at a lot of beach rentals over the last couple of years and this by far was our favorite. We loved being right on the beach! When we weren't on the beach, we were inside enjoying the wonderful views! The chair by the large window was our favorite! The mine fridge in the closet was great, we were able to store all our drinks in it and have plenty of room in the large fridge for all our food. The condo facilities such as 3 outdoor pools, indoor pool, sauna, workout room, and club house were a plus. We will be coming back next year!

"The beach was beautiful and much less crowded than other areas on the beach. Sea Coast Rentals were proactive in communication. The shaded porch was amazing and the couch with a window view of the beach was our favorite spot.

"I would be giving a 5 star review - great location, views, layout, furnishings, decor, cleanliness, balcony. I'm giving 4 stars because of the guests responsibility to provide: toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, paper towels and napkins. Know before you arrive that there isn't even any there to get you started. Other than that, we had a fabulous week! The lounge chair by the window is the BEST - loved it!!
