Welcome to Ocean Dunes 2006! Bring your favorite recipes and enjoy preparing meals at home in this lovingly redecorated kitchen. Granite countertops and custom tilework in the kitchen and both full bathrooms will make you feel pampered. Relax in cozy, soft side dining chairs and in the comfy upholstered living room suite. Dine al fresco on the main level deck, and retreat to your Primary Bedroom Suite for a private sun deck that will let you greet every morning sunrise.

This is not a pet-friendly unit, However, travelers with allergies should be advised that the property owner has a cat who is occasionally in the property.

Welcome to the highly desirable Ocean Dunes resort! Our vacation rental is located on the oceanfront, giving you access to an expanse of stunning beachfront views at the southern tip of Pleasure Island. Enjoy the amenities of the resort, including multiple outdoor pools, tennis courts, shuffleboard, grills, and playgrounds for the kids. After a day at the beach, visit the recreation center for an indoor pool, spa, sauna, exercise room, and clubhouse. Relax, unwind, and make lasting memories at this beautiful destination! Note: there are no facilities at Ocean Dunes for charging golf carts.

Ground Level:
Assigned covered parking for two vehicles, and exterior stairs to the property level.
Fitness Center across the street from the 2100 building.
The Rec Center pool is open year-round except holidays or for any routine or emergency maintenance scheduled at the Rec Center.

Level 1:

Living Room: Love Seat, Full Size Sofa, Chair, Cable TV, Deck Access.

Kitchen: Seating for 2 at the Bar, Electric Stove.

Dining Room: Seating for 4 at Dining Table.

Deck: Adirondack Style Pub Table and Chairs, Accessed from the Living Room, Screen Door.

Half Bath

Level 2:

Primary Bedroom Suite: King Bed, Cable TV, Private Sun Deck. Ensuite Bathroom: Full, Walk-In Shower.

Guest Bedroom: 2 Twin Beds.

Bathroom: Full, Shower/Tub Combo.

Parking:

Assigned Parking Labeled 2006 - Under Building.

Guest parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis

Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and laying on the end of the beds.

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Things to bring:
Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Off Season Check-ins begin at 3 pm and are guaranteed by 5 pm
Check-out is by 10 am.
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Guest Access:
Hard key.

House Rules:
No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities
No smoking
You must be at least 25 to rent this unit.

Pool Notice:
Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

Pet Policy:
No pets allowed.
**Per Ocean Dunes HOA, no travelers are permitted to bring pets. Owners only.**

Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking
- After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee
- After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re-rented. If premises are re-rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee.

Adventure awaits. Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or enjoy a relaxing ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a quaint little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak-covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famous Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking, and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Whether it’s exploring activities on the island, enjoying the ocean views, or enjoying a cocktail by sunset from your own private balcony, Pleasure Island offers diversion for every enthusiast!

Explore the treasures of Carolina Beach, ranked one of the top 10 boardwalks in the country by Food & Wine magazine. "For the price and the fact that it’s right on the beach, what more can you ask for. Very cozy and clean. Beach access was right next to the place, making it easy to go back and forth to the beach. The beach itself was beautiful and relaxing. The kitchen had everything you need. Check in/check out were easy. The place was cozy and well furnished. Loved the modern updates to the secondary bathroom. Carpet, primary bathroom, appliances and kitchen could all use some modern updates, but that’s just me nit-picking. Overall, would stay again. Thanks Sea Coast Rentals!

"Great location! The kitchen was well stocked and a decent size for two people at a time - making meal preparation easy. The home is located with a few miles (3-4) of a lot of restaurants and activities. Plenty of comfortable seating in the living room and on the balcony. Sunrise was directly in front of the balcony which was fantastic each morning! Blackout curtains were on all windows. We would stay here again.

"I definitely would recommend this condo. We traveled with another couple and found the space accommodating. I liked that the sleeping area was away from the main living area giving you privacy and quiet. There were three pools if you wanted to get away from the sand. Both decks were furnished with chairs. The indoor furniture was very comfortable. Pros: Very close to the beach. Well furnished beautiful cozy place. You can checkout without having to go by the office. Linens were provided. Cons: Ceiling fans in bedrooms would be a plus. The second bedroom is a little uncomfortable for a couple. It has two twin beds. It would have been perfect if it had bunk beds and a full bed.

"The property was very accommodating for my family of 6. Only downside, I could find was the concrete, stone beach. the kids had a hard time boogie boarding and swimming for the rocks. they did offer a great deal of sea-life to explore and the proximity to fisher state park and Southport ferry was very cool. just had some trouble swimming. the rooms were large, clean, and very comfortable. updated kitchen was a great item. we cooked all of our meals and had no trouble getting it done in that kitchen. master bed room was very comfortable, the bed was firm so if thats a deal breaker for you might want to reconsider.

"Beautiful Views!! Nice Rental Unit!! We had a beautiful vacation on the Ocean!! If you are wanting to stay in the area, Kure Beach has much less traffic than Carolina Beach while still being extremely close to everything. One thing you should know before you go...this section of beach is VERY rocky. You will need swim shoes if you plan on playing in the Ocean. (We stopped at Wal-Mart and spent $5 each. Not bad :) ) The Rocks make for beautiful views and pictures of the sunrise though so we would definitely stay here again. The unit itself was well kept and up to date. Very Clean and had everything we needed to have a relaxing vacation. Overall, breathtaking views, lots to see and do very near, and a very comfortable well kept unit made for a great vacation!!

"From the very start it was a very professional and pleasant handling by the rental agency Seacoast advantage. The condo was cleaned and very welcoming upon entering our home for the week. My wife and I been bringing our kids down to Kure Beach for 4 years straight. This was first experience with seacoast and couldn't of been more pleased. Great service. What I was so pleased with was how clean the condo was. We had a horrible previous experience with our condo last year. It was disgusting and never cleaned from the tenant before us. The mattress cover had vomit on it and juice boxes were in between the bed and wall. We were still charged a cleaning fee. So this year was such a relief. Highly recommend these guys with any property.

"We had a an excellent stay at Ocean Dunes 2006. We particularly enjoyed the unobstructed ocean views from both balconies, the updated kitchen and living room, master bathroom shower and the overall spacious two-floor layout. We had plenty of room and all the comforts from home on our short visit. The location of the unit is excellent for anyone wanting to explore Ft. Fisher state park as its a very quick and easy walk on the beach to get there. Next time we come to Kure beach, we will specifically rent this condo again!
