We have furnished our home with comfortable and stylish pieces that will make you feel right at home. Enjoy pure, refreshing drinking water with our Reverse Osmosis filtration system—convenience and quality right at your fingertips. Relax and enjoy your stay!

Welcome to the highly desirable Ocean Dunes resort! Our vacation rental is located on the oceanfront, giving you access to an expanse of stunning beachfront views at the southern tip of Pleasure Island. Enjoy the amenities of the resort, including multiple outdoor pools, tennis courts, shuffleboard, grills, and playgrounds for the kids. After a day at the beach, visit the recreation center for an indoor pool, spa, sauna, exercise room and clubhouse. Relax, unwind, and make lasting memories at this beautiful destination! Note: there are no facilities at Ocean Dunes for charging golf carts.

Ground Level:
Assigned covered parking for two vehicles, exterior stairs to the property level.
Fitness Center across the street from the 2100 building.
The Rec Center pool is open year-round with the exception of holidays or for any routine or emergency maintenance scheduled at the Rec Center.

Level 1:

Living Room: Full-Size Couch, Love Seat, Chair with Ottoman, Recliner, Ceiling Fan, Roku TV,
Deck Access.
Kitchen: Seating for 5 at the Bar, Electric Stove.
Dining Room: Seating for 6 at Dining Table.
Bathroom: Full, Shower/Tub Combo.
Guest Bedroom 1: 2 Twin Beds, Ceiling Fan, Smart TV, DVD Player.
Washer and Dryer.

Level 2:

Guest Bedroom 2: Queen Bed, Ceiling Fan, SmartTV.
Guest Bathroom: En Suite, Full, Shower/TubCombo.
Primary Bedroom Suite: King Bed, Recliner, Ceiling Fan, Roku TV, Private Deck. Ensuite Bathroom: Full, Shower/TubCombo.

Parking: Assigned Parking Labeled 1301 - Under Building.

Guest parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis

Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and laying on the end of the beds.

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Things to bring:
Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Off Season Check-ins begin at 3 pm and are guaranteed by 5 pm
Check-out is by 10 am.
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Guest Access:
Hard key.

House Rules:
No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities
No smoking
You must be at least 25 to rent this unit.

Pool Notice:
Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

Pet Policy:
No pets allowed.

Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking
- After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee
- After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re-rented. If premises are re-rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee.

Adventure awaits. Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or enjoy a relaxing ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a quaint little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak-covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famous Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking, and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Whether it’s exploring activities on the island, enjoying the ocean views, or enjoying a cocktail by sunset from your own private balcony, Pleasure Island offers diversion for every enthusiast!

Explore the treasures of Carolina Beach, ranked one of the top 10 boardwalks in the country by Food & Wine magazine. During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, carnival rides, bingo, family nights, and events like the weekly fireworks and concert series. A home away from home

"We have been visiting Kure Beach for more than 30 years. And have stayed in Ocean Dunes 1301 at least 15 times. It's our grandkids' favorite beach home! (We only rented another unit the year that the hurricane caused major damage to 1301.) Last year's living room and balcony furniture updates have made it even cozier. Every year, the instant we walk in the door, we feel it's our home away from home. Installing the new sliding doors has been a great improvement. The only other way to improve 1301 would be to replace the shelves on the refrigerator door. They've been "missing/broken" for several years. We're used to it, but it might help other people.

"We were very pleased with this rental. It had everything we needed for a relaxing week on the beach. The beach was right out the door so there was no need to pack up and haul a large amount of our things to the water each day. The size of the rental exceeded our expectations. There was PLENTY of room for our family of five. The kitchen was stocked with anything you could need for the week including a blender, Keurig, and freezer ice maker. Our only complaints were that we had to make the beds when we arrived and put the towels away, the decks are in need of refinishing as they are warped and you can easily get slivers, and the upstairs deck does not have screens so you can not leave the doors open. The recreation center was across the street from the rental. The pool area was clean. They had sports equipment for outdoor activities to sign out which was nice. The only negative there was the hot tub was extremely small. We would definitely rent a property with Sea Coast Rentals again!!

"This was our first ever trip to Kure Beach and it was awesome! The condo was so nice and clean and the location was quiet. We were just steps away from the beach which was so nice. Upon arrival the staff were very helpful in pointing us in the right direction to find the things we were looking for and they stayed in touch via text throughout our stay. Always there to answer our questions even after hours when we had a small issue with a flipped breaker. We look forward to working with you guys again and hopefully staying at the same property.

"This property was remodeled great. One of the nicest of ocean dunes I have ever stayed over the past twenty years. I do have a couple recommendations. The furniture in the living room needs updating we had to put pillows under the chair so it would be even and not be sagging. As nice as the remodeled interior was the couches were in desperate need of cleaning or updating. If I was the owner I would diffidently make sure to put transitions strips in the hall to bedroom and bathroom to bedroom floors. We scraped of feet a couple times and it will make both carpet and flooring last longer. One more thing. The walkway to the beach needs to have safety strips where the one step downs r along the walkway itâ€™s hard to see. Overall beautiful place. My family and I had a wonderful time.

"We love staying in 1301 Ocean Dunes. We first stayed there a couple of times about 20 years ago. Then we didn't visit Kure Beach for many years. For the past three years we have rented unit 1301 and are happy to have returned to our "beach home." It's comfortable,easy to watch family on the beach while some stay in the unit. "The condo is lovely! It has the perfect floor plan for families. However, please consult the Town of Kure Beach regarding the drainage pipe in front of the building. It is quite an eyesore. :( I have rented through United Beach Vacations for the last 3 years. The organization has been accommodating.

"Our annual family beach trip has been to Ocean Dunes for a number of years. We've stayed in various three-bedroom condos, but this unit is by far our favorite. It's well furnished and has a personal touch. This unit is close to the indoor pool as well as an outdoor pool, and a walkway to the beach. Our family ranges in age from 5 years to 68 years. Everyone was comfortable and content with this condo! We only hope it's available when we are looking for a condo again next summer!
