This is the perfect property for two couples and a bunch of kids! You'll love the salt sea air and the gorgeous views from our Two Ocean View Porches, and the short half-block to either the Ocean or Carolina Lake from our gracious home. Two beach access points within a one minute walk make you intimate with the Beach. Pick up your daily fresh foods at Veggie Wagon right behind the house. You'll fall in love with the stunning water views from almost every room and the ease of the elevator at Wood Vista in the heart of Carolina Beach. You'll have plenty of sleep time privacy for three families in our three separate Guest Suites on the first floor of our Townhome. When you are ready to party, have a cocktail on the porch and fix a delicous meal, join together on the top floor in our beautiful Great Room with shiplap design details and consummate comfort throughout. You'll be surrounded by tons of space and natural light while you revel in your social times as a group, but also have plenty of space to curl up with a good book for some alone time. For a bit of luxurious privacy, greet the sunrise from your private master bedroom porch with your morning coffee and a cool breakfast al fresco. Sophisticated and high quality furnishings will keep you coming back for a casually elegant, yet completely comfortable experience at beautiful Carolina Beach.
If you are coming with blended families, consider our 6 bedroom, 6 bath option: Fresh and Salty: Two Townhouses beside each other.

Rental Policies:

In response to increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-Ins (June-August) begin at 4pm and are guaranteed by 6pm
Off Season Check-Ins begin at 3pm and are guaranteed by 5pm
Check Out is by 10 am
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early early or plan to delay your departure.

No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities

Pet Policy:
No pets allowed

Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking
- After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee
- After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re rented. If premises are re rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee.

Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or enjoy a relaxing ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a quaint little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famous Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, carnival rides, bingo, family nights, and events like the weekly fireworks and concert series. Close to everything! 10/17/2023

We have been in Wood Vista for approximately three weeks now as a long term winter rental while our home is being restored from a terrible flood while we were away. We can absolutely attest to the fact that this is a beautiful, well furnished, well supplied and comfortable condo. It is across the street from a beautiful beach and also across the street from the lake with great walking. It is close to so many good restaurants in Carolina Beach. We have personally renamed it “Silver Lining” and are grateful to have found it. You will not be disappointed!

This is an amazing property. It is in a really cool little town and situated in a great spot. Our only complaint was having to leave. This home is perfect for a relaxing beach getaway. It’s minutes from the beach and other hot spots. There is a sweet specialized market next door and a beautiful park behind. You are within walking distance of all the restaurants too. The home was immaculate, spacious, and comfortable and offered all the conveniences of home. I will definitely be booking time here again!

Girls trip! And man, this place was wonderful. Had all the comforts of home and so close to the beach. There wasn’t anything missing from this home. We enjoyed ourselves so much. Sunrises from the porch. A short shuffle over to the beach. Very good dining in walking distance. The livening room furniture was perfect for lounging around. Highly recommend this place to anyone.
