Bring your family to our quiet neighborhood street in the trees only a 6 minute walk to Oceanfront Beach Access. Enjoy all the beauty of Kure Beach easily, and if you need a golf cart, our property accepts golf cart rentals and charging. Not only golf carts, but there is generous private parking for your family's vehicles and boat trailers are allowed! When you need a break from the sand and surf, enjoy our comfortable front porch furniture in the shade. With a full traditional kitchen and family dining area, meals at home are a pleasure. But, if you want to eat out, Riverview Restaurant is only a two minute drive. You can catch the most beautiful sunset glistening across the Cape Fear River from their outdoor dining area.

Ground Level:

Large parking pad, covered parking under house, stairs to first floor.
Outside shower: Located in the back of the house

One Story Living Level:

Living Room - Queen Size Sofa bed, 4 chairs, coffee table, ceiling fan, smart TV, access to front deck and side deck.
Kitchen - Full kitchen, bar top with seating for 2.
Dining Room - Table with seating for 6.
Covered Porch- Round dining table with 4 chairs, plus 2 additional chairs, 2 chaise lounge chairs.
Guest Bedroom 1: Queen size bed, ceiling fan, smart TV.
Guest Bedroom 2: Queen size bed, ceiling fan, chair, smart TV.
Guest Bathroom: Vanity with shower/tub combo.
Primary Bedroom Suite: King size bed, ceiling fan, chair, smart TV, En-suite bathroom with vanity and walk in shower
New Washer and Dryer added April 2023: Located in the hallway.

Parking

Parking for 4 vehicles (2 covered parking spaces) This property is advertised to allow 4 vehicles, with 2 cars pulled under the house. However, there is also a generous parking pad to the side and back of house for an extra car or boat trailer!

Rental Policies:

In response to increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4pm and are guaranteed by 6pm
Off Season Check-ins begin at 3pm and are guaranteed by 5pm
Check out is by 10 AM.
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

House Rules:
NO events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities
NO Smoking

Pet Policy:
No pets allowed

Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking
- After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee
- After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re rented. If premises are re rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee.

Adventure awaits. Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or enjoy a relaxing ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a quaint little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famous Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Whether it’s exploring activities on the island, enjoying the ocean views, or enjoying a cocktail by sunset from your own private balcony, Pleasure Island offers diversion for every enthusiast!

Explore the treasures of Carolina Beach, ranked one of the top 10 boardwalks in the country by Food & Wine magazine. One of the last remaining beach boardwalks on the East Coast, it includes a variety of restaurants, arcade, shops, ice cream, Famous Britts Donuts, bars, and more! During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, carnival rides, bingo, family nights, and events like the weekly fireworks and concert series. Rent a Jeep, bicycle, or golf cart as the most convenient ways to navigate the island. Annual off- season events include the Cape Fear Kite Festival, Christmas by the Sea, and the Island of Lights Festival.

Perfect getaway! 06/15/2023

This cute little beach cottage was the perfect getaway for our small family! The open floor plan was perfect for spending family time together and once the kids went to bed relaxing on the big screen porch was the perfect way to wind down each day. Quiet street off the beaten path but just a quick walk across the street to the beach! Can’t wait to come back next summer!

My wife and I were looking for home away from home place to stay at the beach. We found it at the Holland House, so private and quiet. Close to Ft. Fisher Historic sites and NC Aquarium that we thoroughly enjoyed. Great restaurants, very close by and they deliver! This house was clean and well maintained with beautiful decorations! We will definitely reserve this again.

What a hidden gem! So private yet a short walk to the beach. Beautifully decorated and so cozy! My grandchildren absolutely love all the areas to ride their bikes safely. We loved relaxing on the large screen porch with ceiling fan. Can’t wait to return!
