Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and laying on the end of the beds.

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Things to bring:
Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Check-out is by 10 am.
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Guest Access:
Electronic entry.

House Rules:
No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities
No smoking
You must be at least 25 to rent this unit.

Pool Notice:
Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

Pet Policy:
No pets allowed.

Cancellation Policy:
We want to make sure you’re aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.

Neighborhood

Adventure awaits on Pleasure Island. Exploring the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, home to incredible coastal wildlife, or take the scenic car ferry across the Cape Fear River for a relaxing visit to the charming town of Southport where quaint streets are filled with unique antique shops and galleries. History lovers can walk the scenic, live‑oak‑lined trails of the Fort Fisher State Historic Site, where Civil War bunkers still stand. Nature enthusiasts will love the island’s two state‑managed coastal preserves: Carolina Beach State Park, home to rare Venus flytraps found naturally only in this region, and the Fort Fisher State Recreation Area, known for pristine beaches, marshes, and wildlife viewing. Both offer beautiful opportunities for hiking, paddling, fishing, and spotting pelicans or even nesting loggerhead sea turtles.

Getting Around

Getting around Pleasure Island is a breeze! While parking can be limited in peak season, especially in popular spots, paid private or public parking is available. We recommend exploring Carolina Beach and Kure Beach on foot or by bike – they're super walkable and bike-friendly. You'll find safe pedestrian and bike routes, including the Island Greenway. Renting a golf cart or bike is easy, too, with several local rental companies. Golf carts are one of the easiest ways to cruise around the island. Rentals are simple to arrange, and once you're behind the wheel, you can zip along any road posted 35 mph or under.

Great Vacation Home

"Kure Dreamin’ is a five bedroom, 3.5 bath home that was absolutely perfect for our group of 10. The decks, pool, boardwalk, and outdoor shower were great. There were many pool toys, beach chairs, and other useful things stored in the garage. The kitchen had newer appliances, including a huge fridge, and plenty of dishes, cutlery, and pots/pans. The dining/living areas were small but well-suited to our needs. The upstairs beds were comfortable, Overall, we were all very happy with the home and the location.

"Kure Dreamin is located directly in front of the ocean. Beautiful views from the living room and kitchen area. Covered deck was wonderful to watch the sunrise and sunset. Private pool and plenty of outdoor seating. The home was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. More importantly, Sea Coast Rentals is the best company we have ever used. They have excellent communication and customer service. Looking forward to our next visit!

"Our family had a marvelous time here. Having the pool was a real bonus-especially for the little ones. There were pool toys (and we added a few) and lots of chairs. We rented umbrellas from a local agency who came each morning and secured them. The little grill was old and had seen a lot of use. It would be great if they added a gas grill! The bike tires needed air and we did not see a pump. An AC person came to check on the AC when we called. It was a bit hard to cool the house during middle of the day but the rental co was very responsive.

"The location was excellent, the house was ok. We wish there was a more convenient way to bring everything up to the main floor. No vacuum, just a broom that wasn’t sufficient. Needs to have some updates, such as refrigerator umbrella stands by the pool. We definitely enjoyed the the convinces of this house.
