Our charming Oak Island cottage is a .7 mile stroll to the beach down a sleepy lane, or a three-minute drive. Where you can swim, surf, and sun yourself, and then walk to Grocery stores, Barbecue, Ice Cream, and Putt Putt, all close by. If you prefer to fish the marshes or run out to the inlet from the ICW, boats and trailers are no problem, and there is ample parking. The public boat ramp is super close! Screened-in porches, a hot water outdoor shower, and a gas grill make this the perfect island vacation house year-round.

Our street is a straight walk through to the beach access. Nearby Middleton Park provides food trucks and a cabana with showers/ restrooms. You will have easy access to the splash pad, skate park, and baseball fields if you need a diversion from the sand for a while. And, don’t miss stopping for a Dole Whip from a nearby food truck. Our home is an easy visit to grocery shopping, dining, and bar spots, and various ice cream, coffee and donut options.

Ground Level: We are a one-story home with only four steps up to the front porch.
Front yard fire pit. Outdoor Shower, Patio, Raised Deck, Screened Porch, Gas Grill, Outdoor seating and dining furniture.
2 Screened porches with rocking chairs and a swing.
Living Room: Smart TV, Sectional Sofa, Books, Ceiling Fan. Open floor plan.
Kitchen: Seating for 9 at table and counter, fully equipped for meals at home, stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, electric range, coffee pot.
Primary Bedroom Suite: King Bed, Ceiling fan, Ensuite Bath.
Primary Ensuite Bathroom: Bathtub with shower, single vanity, toilet.
Guest Bedroom with Queen Bed, Wall Mounted Smart TV
Shared Hallway Bathroom with Bathtub and Shower
Guest Bunk Room with Full, Twin, and Twin Trundle

Parking: 4-6 vehicles, size dependent

Linens: Save money! Ask about a $174.46 discount if you want to bring your sheets and towels. If linen service is selected, they will be wrapped in sanitary packaging and laid on the bedspread.

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-Ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Off-Season Check-Ins begin at 3 pm and are guaranteed by 5 pm
Check Out is by 10 am.
We adhere to this policy, so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Guest Access:
*Electronic entry. You will be provided a code before check-in.

House Rules:
No events such as weddings, bachelor's/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities
No Smoking

Pet Policy: Dogs Allowed. Restriction and fees apply, please call Sea Coast Rentals for clarification. The Town of Oak Island is pet friendly, but Town rules must be followed.

Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking
- After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee
- After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re-rented. If premises are re-rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee.

Things To Do:
Oak Island is known for its golden sand beaches, calming blue waters, friendly community, and proximity to the cities of Southport, Wilmington, and Myrtle Beach. There are many cute island coffee shops, stores, breweries, and a park that showcases a splash pad for summer fun! With a beautiful Golf Club open to summer travelers and over 100 public water access points, there is an abundance of all things adventurous to do on Oak Island!

If you'd like to keep your fitness routine going while on vacation, you can get an out-of-town Gym pass at Oak Island Recreation Center. Utilize the Rec Center's ample parking, put in at the Kayak ramp, and spend hours kayaking our beautiful marshes. Sit on the lawn and enjoy a night off cooking at our Weekly Friday night "Summer Concert In The Park" with a couple of local food truck options at this family-centric Live Music event. Beach Day takes place in Oak Island on the Friday before July 4th and features all-day activities followed by fireworks on the island that evening.

Visit Historic Southport, a seafaring town just five miles from our island, for a bigger nightlife. Southport, at the confluence of the Cape Fear River and the Atlantic Ocean, features a variety of different restaurants, bars, live music and shopping. It is one of our favorite places to walk around and check out different food and live music on the weekends. There are free parking options all over town, and you can easily walk to dozens of places while enjoying the breeze from the riverfront and admiring historic homes and general store buildings that date back to the early 1800s. Southport's State Fourth of July Festival is a three-day street fair with artists from all over the state, vendors, and food. It is truly like being in an Andy Griffith episode with the parade and grand finale fireworks show over the riverfront in Southport.

"This was a great place to stay! Loved that everything we needed for our stay was there. Everything was very clean!! The only negative thing I can say is the guest bedroom did not have a TV. Overall, we had a great time, and would stay again.
