Enjoy your coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening on your private deck and take in the ocean breeze. The sun will bask you with southern warmth as you begin to unwind. The Atlanta Beach Access is just across the street for easy back and forth trips to the thrills of the sand and surf. Walk across the street to Carolina Beach Lake for the weekly art fair and outdoor movies. Plan to visit The Veggie Wagon daily for your farm fresh produce, organic lattes, and local eggs and honey. For nights out, The Boardwalk is only a half mile stroll away. You can't beat Southern Sands for the quintessential Carolina Beach experience! Our small, local condo community is freshly painted, super clean, and handled with care, so you will feel right at home!

Security Cameras are located at the parking area of this property.

Rental Policies:

In response to increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-Ins (June-August) begin at 4pm and are guaranteed by 6pm
Off Season Check-Ins begin at 3pm and are guaranteed by 5pm
Check Out is by 10 am.
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early early or plan to delay your departure.

Electronic Lock entry.

House Rules:
No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities
No smoking

Pet Policy:
Pets Allowed, Small dogs are welcome under 40lbs.

Carolina and Kure Beaches are pet friendly, but you must follow town guidelines.

Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking
- After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee
- After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re rented. If premises are re rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee.

Thing To Do:

Adventure awaits. Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or enjoy a relaxing ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a quaint little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famous Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Whether it’s exploring activities on the island, enjoying the ocean views, or enjoying a cocktail by sunset from your own private balcony, Pleasure Island offers diversion for every enthusiast!

Explore the treasures of Carolina Beach, ranked one of the top 10 boardwalks in the country by Food & Wine magazine. One of the last remaining beach boardwalks on the East Coast, it includes a variety of restaurants, arcade, shops, ice cream, Famous Britts Donuts, bars, and more! During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, carnival rides, bingo, family nights, and events like the weekly fireworks and concert series. Rent a Jeep, bicycle, or golf cart as the most convenient ways to navigate the island. Annual off- season events include the Cape Fear Kite Festival, Christmas by the Sea, and the Island of Lights Festival.

Perfect scenic location to relax and step out onto the beautiful Carolina Beach. Ride the waves, take in the sunrise, walk to breakfast, dinner, and dessert with live music all around. Sleep in to quiet, comfortable, inviting penthouse with a view. Worth every penny.

Wonderful view from balcony. Comfortable place. Had trouble with not having cable hook up for two days in master but got corrected. Overall a lovely home.

We enjoyed our stay. The view could not be beat. Area was close to park and boardwalk. Bed was comfortable, and the fireworks on Thurs were an added plus, viewed from the deck! We would definitely return !
