Welcome to Sea View-The Surf Shack, where stunning sea views greet you from every window! Al Fresco dining is a breeze on our beautiful balcony, overlooking the surf. Escape the crowded public beach access points: grab your beach blanket and Yeti and take the private beach access from our small condo community. Our Surf themed condo has been completely renovated and comes furnished with lots of upgrades, yet is still one of the most affordable vacation condos on the island! You'll have the best of both worlds at The Surf Shack: Eat quietly at home or take the .7 mile stroll on the sand down to The Boardwalk and all the restaurants, bars, carnival rides, and nightlife you could want.

Ground Level:

Covered spot under building for one car, plus parking lot spot for second car. Interior stairwell to property level. Private community boardwalk to beach.

We are a Second Floor condo.

Open Floor Plan, Living Area: Sectional Sofa, Soft Cocktail Ottoman, Side Chair, Entertainment Center with Smart TV, Double door access to deck.
Deck: Sturdy Pub Table for 2, Porch Bench
Dinette: Wooden Farm Table with 4 Chairs
Kitchen: Countertop Dining for 3, Granite Countertops, New full size stainless steel appliances including Refrigerator, Electric Range, Microwave, and Dishwasher.
Primary Bedroom Suite: 1 King Bed, Double Nightstands, Dresser, Large Wall Mount Smart TV, Ceiling Fan, Ensuite Bathroom, Access to Balcony with Island-View
Master Bath: Walk-in Shower, Single Vanity with Quartz Countertop, Toilet
Guest Bedroom: 1 NEW Full bed and 1 NEW Twin Bed (Photo may vary: this is not a bunk bed.) Chest of Drawers, Ceiling Fan, TV

Parking is limited to 1 midsize car and one additional small car; must use hang tags. This parking lot is not suitable for SUVs.

Rental Policies:

In response to increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-Ins (June-August) begin at 4pm and are guaranteed by 6pm
Off Season Check-Ins begin at 3pm and are guaranteed by 5pm
Check Out is by 10 am.
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Electronic Lock entry.

House Rules:
No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities
No Smoking

Pet Policy:
No Pets Allowed

Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking
- After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee
- After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re rented. If premises are re rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee.

Adventure awaits. Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or enjoy a relaxing ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a quaint little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famous Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Whether it’s exploring activities on the island, enjoying the ocean views, or enjoying a cocktail by sunset from your own private balcony, Pleasure Island offers diversion for every enthusiast!

Explore the treasures of Carolina Beach, ranked one of the top 10 boardwalks in the country by Food & Wine magazine. One of the last remaining beach boardwalks on the East Coast, it includes a variety of restaurants, arcade, shops, ice cream, Famous Britts Donuts, bars, and more! During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, carnival rides, bingo, family nights, and events like the weekly fireworks and concert series. Rent a Jeep, bicycle, or golf cart as the most convenient ways to navigate the island. Annual off- season events include the Cape Fear Kite Festival, Christmas by the Sea, and the Island of Lights Festival.

The room was comfortable, clean and spacious!!! We loved the ocean view and relaxing experience of the “beachy” atmosphere that the whole town has to offer. Will be returning soon for some good R & R. So glad we found this condo. A hidden gem for sure!

Unit was as pictured and the view of the beach from the balcony was perfect. This area of the beach is less crowded compared to the boardwalk area further south where it’s much more populated. Seaview D

This is simply a lovely condo. From the clean and comfortable furnishings to the perfect location. You will not be disappointed in this little “home”. I know that I will be going back again.
