Oceanfront with Elevator: Welcome to Sea Colony 31A! You can suntan in private, enjoy fantastic ocean views, and watch for the dolphins to swim by from the oceanfront deck. This condo has been renovated to feature granite countertops, new kitchen cabinets and appliances, and an updated Primary Bedroom Suite. Two comfortable bedrooms each have their own bathroom. A wonderful vacation spot near all the best Carolina Beach attractions!
Please note: the Sea Colony Pool is closed for the winter after October 1, 2024.

Long known as an economical Oceanfront Community, Sea Colony offers one of the most spacious and lush grounds you will find in any other Oceanfront complex and features a beautiful oceanfront pool and private walkway to the beach. Sliding glass doors with a full front window wall create indoor-outdoor living space in the family room. You will love spending time on the large 9x15 balcony while you feast your eyes on the magnificent Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy the community gazebo, oceanfront pool, and wonderful landscaping with expansive green lawns. The location has easy access on and off the island, avoiding heavy season traffic by using Dow Rd. Ample-lighted parking for 2 vehicles in the parking area requires a fully displayed parking pass at all times. The HOA does check frequently during the season to protect your right to park there as a guest. Vehicles not displaying a pass will be towed.

Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and laying on the end of the beds.

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Things to bring:
Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Off Season Check-ins begin at 3 pm and are guaranteed by 5 pm
Check-out is by 10 am.
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Guest Access:
Hard Key.

House Rules:
No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities
No smoking
You must be at least 25 to rent this unit.

Elevator Policies:
Please note, the elevator is for convenience only and does not guarantee ADA Compliance or Wheelchair accessibility. Although elevators are checked on a regular basis, Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable if the elevator is not operating or functioning properly during your stay. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

Pool Notice:
Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

Pet Policy:
No pets allowed.

Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking
- After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee
- After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re-rented. If premises are re-rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee.

Adventure awaits. Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or enjoy a relaxing ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a quaint little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak-covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famous Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking, and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Whether it’s exploring activities on the island, enjoying the ocean views, or enjoying a cocktail by sunset from your own private balcony, Pleasure Island offers diversion for every enthusiast!

Explore the treasures of Carolina Beach, ranked one of the top 10 boardwalks in the country by Food & Wine magazine. One of the last remaining beach boardwalks on the East Coast, it includes a variety of restaurants, an arcade, shops, ice cream, Famous Britts Donuts, bars, and more! During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, carnival rides, bingo, family nights, and events like the weekly fireworks and concert series. Rent a Jeep, bicycle, or golf cart as the most convenient ways to navigate the island. Annual off-season events include the Cape Fear Kite Festival, Christmas by the Sea, and the Island of Lights Festival.

"Excellent location 6 minutes from the Kure Beach Pier and about 5 minutes to Carolina Beach attractions. Condo was super clean and view was fantastic of the ocean. They also helped me get a pair of shoes I left sent back. 5 stars all around! My new favorite beach!

"Great for a quiet getaway. We booked at the last minute for a Memorial Day getaway and were very impressed with the accommodations. The condo is older but well maintained and comfortable. Close enough to restaurants and attractions to get to them easily but far enough away that it didn’t feel commercialized or loud. Zero complaints whatsoever and would definitely book here again

"Our winter rental was very nice and we loved the view and the condo which was clean and nicely furnished. Sea Coast rental has been delightful to work with as we come down in the summer with our whole family and just the two of us in the winter. This year Madison and April were very helpful and efficient and made our trip even more pleasant. We had to leave early in February because of a family emergency but plan to be back in July. Thanks for another year of friendly and professional service.

"Tremendous location with everything you need. My wife to two sons loved this rental. It was cozy yet comfortable. Everything you could need for making meals was there. All we had to do was go shopping. Super close to the beach and very convenient especially with toting a 9 and 3 year old and all of the beach stuff. Beds were comfortable and plenty of seating in the living room. And check out was easier than any other place we have stayed. We are definitely going to book again next year.

" This property was the best that we've stayed at since we've been coming to Carolina Beach. The view was awesome! The elevator was a blessing. The condo was centrally located making for shorter drives to other locations on the island. The furniture, decorations and appliance were top-of-the line.

"Our unit was well maintained and clean. It was as pictured with a nice kitchen equipped with everything you could possibly need to do cooking if you so desire. The unit was quiet and we enjoyed the privacy of our balcony. The beach is easily accessible. However, the unit could definitely use new bedding in the master suite and we did miss the fact that there was no hot tub on the premises anywhere. On the positive side we were always able to find pool chairs available and the pool was a very nice size, much larger than most condos we have stayed in. Overall, I would highly recommend staying in this unit and would stay here again. Linda C. from WV

"The unit is beautiful, with an incredible view! Pictures don't show how nice this place is! Bonus features: Deck faces the ocean, beds are firm and comfortable, furnishings are high quality, full sized washer/dryer (not a mini stackable), open floor plan, updated kitchen that is well equipped, elevator. Easy walk to pool and beach, too.
