Your master bedroom is your private retreat with a luxurious king-size bed and ensuite bathroom; greet the sunrise from your bedroom deck with a breathtaking ocean view. Sumptuous and comfortable bedding throughout is generous enough for blended families and all the guests you can want! Store your beach equipment down below, keep connected with our high-speed Wi-Fi, keep everyone entertained with our great collection of games, or let everyone have a bit of downtime with a smart TV in every room. Embrace your culinary spirit in our newly renovated kitchen, or enjoy a hot cup of coffee and favorite drinks on the large deck, where you’ll find plenty of room for all. Take a nap in the hammock while rocking to the sounds of the ocean. Trust us, vacations don’t get any better than this.

Welcome to the highly desirable Ocean Dunes resort! Our vacation rental is located on the oceanfront, giving you access to an expanse of stunning beachfront views at the southern tip of Pleasure Island. Enjoy the amenities of the resort, including multiple outdoor pools, tennis courts, shuffleboard, grills, and playgrounds for the kids. After a day at the beach, visit the recreation center for an indoor pool, spa, sauna, exercise room, and clubhouse. Relax, unwind, and make lasting memories at this beautiful destination! Note: there are no facilities at Ocean Dunes for charging golf carts. Ocean Dunes covered parking is not suitable for large SUVs, please seek a first come first serve visitor parking spot for large vehicles. Always use your parking pass!

Assigned covered parking for two vehicles, and exterior stairs to the property level.

The Fitness Center is directly across the street from our parking lot within walking distance.
Please use the outdoor showers to wash sand off your feet prior to entering the townhome. Please shake off towels and articles of clothing outside before washing them as sand will clog the washing machine water line.
The Rec Center pool is open year-round except holidays or for any routine or emergency maintenance scheduled at the Rec Center.

Parking: Assigned Parking Labeled 2119 - Under Building

Linens - Beds will be made with clean sheets, bath towels will be lying on the end of the beds, bathmats provided in each bathroom, kitchen towel and dish sponge provided. (Guest will need to make any trundle, sofa beds, or top bunks.)

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Things to bring:
Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Check-out is by 10 am.
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Guest Access:
Electronic entry.

House Rules:
No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities
No smoking
You must be at least 25 to rent this unit.

Elevator Policies:
Please note, the elevator is for convenience only and does not guarantee ADA Compliance or Wheelchair accessibility. Although elevators are checked on a regular basis, Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable if the elevator is not operating or functioning properly during your stay. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

Pool Notice:
Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

Pet Policy:
No pets allowed.
**Per Ocean Dunes HOA, no travelers are permitted to bring pets. Owners only.**

Cancellation Policy:
We want to make sure you’re aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.

Things to do:
Adventure awaits. Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or enjoy a relaxing ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a quaint little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak-covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famous Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking, and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Whether it’s exploring activities on the island, enjoying the ocean views, or enjoying a cocktail by sunset from your own private balcony, Pleasure Island offers diversion for every enthusiast!
Explore the treasures of Carolina Beach, ranked one of the top 10 boardwalks in the country by Food & Wine magazine. One of the last remaining beach boardwalks on the East Coast, it includes a variety of restaurants, an arcade, shops, ice cream, Famous Britts Donuts, bars, and more! During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, carnival rides, bingo, family nights, and events like the weekly fireworks and concert series. Annual off-season events include the Cape Fear Kite Festival, Christmas by the Sea, and the Island of Lights Festival.

Neighborhood

Sea Coast Input - Carolina Beach boardwalk offers shopping, locally owned restaurants , ice cream & fudge shops and let’s not forget the vibrant nightlife. During the summer months the local gazebo has live music and bingo. Fishing charter boats, nightly party cruises, pontoon boats are also available. Or explore the Carolina Beach State Park. Neighboring Kure beach offers a charming downtown with locally owned restaurants ,Oceanfront park and a 712-foot long fishing pier. Fort Fisher is located at the southern end of the island where you can visit the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum and the North Carolina Aquarium. There are approximately 10 golf courses within a 1 hour drive and for those “historic” buffs, take a day trip to Downtown Wilmington or one of the other local islands via ferry.

Getting Around

Sea Coast Input : Parking may be limited during the summer months (public parking is available through Pleasure Island at an hourly rate).
Carolina / Kure Beach is easily navigable once you're here. Our beach towns are very accessible and family friendly for vehicles, bikes and golf carts. Renting bikes and golf carts is a breeze with the many rental companies on the island. Advance reservations are recommended beach accessories. Escape the hustle and bustle of the beaches of Carolina/Kure Beach and explore the Carolina Beach state park and its’ many hiking trails. Or the Carolina Beach Greenway walking trail.
For a day trip travel from Ft. Fisher to Southport aboard the Southport Car Ferry and their many antique stores.

"An absolutely gorgeous view right on the edge of the shoreline. Looking out the patio doors, we felt one with the tide. Beach is private and quite, rooms are clean and comfy. The kitchen had all the utensils, appliances, pots, pans, and more. Each room had plenty of outlets in easily accessible locations for chargers, laptops, you name it. TVs all worked with Roku and any streaming service you needed to access. The recreation center was perfect and well maintained. It had all the comfort of home, but right on the ocean. We didn't want to leave!

"The property was great! There was an issue with the storm door that I emailed property management about at 11:00 pm and someone was there by 10 the next morning to fix it. We cooked in every night. The kitchen was very well stocked with enough plates, glasses and silverware for a large group. I found every, piece of cookware and utensils needed. The was beautiful and indoor pool refreshing in the afternoons. The deck was awesome for watching sunrises. We would definitely go back!

"Our only critique was that we wished we had known the condo comes equipped with fans in the closets in case you need that extra airflow or white noise, a pack 'n play, futon bed, and plenty of great board games! We were pleasantly surprised and our trip of six adults and some children went perfectly with a clean condo, amazing location, and the sound of the ocean every morning!

"We had the best time and weather and couldn't ask for anything more. This unit was clean, well appointed and the attention to detail was bar none. Only one criticism and I hope this is rectified for safety purposes. The swing on the deck is in bad shape. The wood is rotted out and the hardware is rusted. My brother sat on it and it almost gave way. Would have liked to chill in it. Thanks for a memorable stay. We will be back next year!!

"We greatly enjoyed our family vacation at this condo! The location is great with an incredibly close boardwalk and a great area for rinsing off from the beach. The balcony is wonderful and spacious. We enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning (#thankskids). We also enjoyed the nice warm indoor pool! The owners clearly put a lot of thought into the details of the unit…I especially appreciated the kid-friendly touches like blackout curtains in the bunk room, kid friendly dishes, and a clothes line in the shower for hanging all those swimsuits! We hope to come back next year!
