This vacation rental is a modern oasis with high-end appliances and tasteful furnishings throughout. Attention to detail has been given to the shiplap details and the unique spiral staircase that leads to the loft. Enjoy natural light from the wall of windows and bask in the serene oceanfront view from the sundeck. This is the perfect spot for a relaxing, luxurious getaway, with sleeping and bathing privacy for two couples.

Welcome to the highly desirable Ocean Dunes resort! Our vacation rental is located on the oceanfront, giving you access to an expanse of stunning beachfront views at the southern tip of Pleasure Island. Enjoy the amenities of the resort, including multiple outdoor pools, tennis courts, shuffleboard, grills, and playgrounds for the kids. After a day at the beach, visit the recreation center for an indoor pool, spa, sauna, exercise room, and clubhouse. Relax, unwind, and make lasting memories at this beautiful destination! Note: there are no facilities at Ocean Dunes for charging golf carts. Ocean Dunes covered parking is not suitable for large SUVs, please seek a first come first serve visitor parking spot for large vehicles. Always use your parking pass!

Ground Level:
Assigned covered parking for two vehicles, and exterior stairs to the property level.
Fitness Center across the street from the 2100 building.
The Rec Center pool is open year-round except holidays or for any routine or emergency maintenance scheduled at the Rec Center.

Guest parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis

Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and laying on the end of the beds.

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Things to bring:
Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Off Season Check-ins begin at 3 pm and are guaranteed by 5 pm
Check-out is by 10 am.
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Guest Access:
Electronic entry.

House Rules:
No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities
No smoking
You must be at least 25 to rent this unit.

Pool Notice:
Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

Pet Policy:
No pets allowed.
**Per Ocean Dunes HOA, no travelers are permitted to bring pets. Owners only.**

Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking
- After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation debit.
- After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re-rented. If premises are re-rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation debit.

Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or enjoy a relaxing ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a quaint little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak-covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famous Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking, and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Whether it’s exploring activities on the island, enjoying the ocean views, or enjoying a cocktail by sunset from your own private balcony, Pleasure Island offers diversion for every enthusiast!

"Very nice only problem was no power in part of the house first night there. Electrician did come out the next morning to repair. Water pressure in main bath is very weak at shower upstairs was fine. The remotes need the batteries replaced for the tv upstairs and the downstairs fan and surround sound. Couch is very uncomfortable.

"Overall we loved the condo and found it very comfortable and accommodating. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, and some things we didn't expect. It felt like just the right size for our family of four, and we loved being right on the beach. We found a whole baggie full of sharks teeth, make good use of the property's pools, spotted a shark from the balcony, relaxed on the beach, and made a few trips to nearby Carolina Beach. It was the most relaxing vacation we've ever had! We will definitely be returning in the future!

"Nicely updated beachfront escape w/ modern, clean appeal. Would definitely return! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over President's Day Weekend. The beach was so quiet and peaceful this time of year and the views from this unit are amazing. Also loved the close proximity to Fort Fisher. The inside is updated and modern w/ pretty much any amenity you can think of. The TV/sound system were a bit confusing to operate - would recommend a cheat-sheet to help make that a bit less confusing as we never could quite figure out the sound bar. Also, took us a bit of time to figure out how to turn on the fireplace (there is a black button on top right of fireplace that blends in a bit too well - but once we found that, we could enjoy it). Overall would recommend this unit, it was beautifully decorated and feels spacious and open. Also love the catchy name - "Tropic Like It's Hot!" Can't go wrong with that!

"Beautiful finishes, updates, decor, and location! What a view! As soon as you open the front door, you are captivated by the ocean view out the back! As you let your eyes wander, you are further impressed by the fireplace, tall ceilings, beautiful kitchen, and on-trend decor! The bedroom and loft are beautifully done, and my daughter loved the Xbox addition in the loft! What a treat! I thought the main bathroom could use a little TLC in terms of caulk and care around the sink and tub. Also, not all vent and outlet covers were secured correctly, leaving holes in the walls. Other than that, the place was a gem and we’ll definitely be coming back!

"The BEST value and stay. This condo felt way more luxurious than what we paid for it. Amenities are above and beyond. The view is absolutely incredible. Great location for Shell scouring and so close to things yet it feels so private and secluded. The rec center pool was way larger than we expected, and very clean. The condo itself was spotless and the kitchen had more space and supplies that we have found anywhere else. The loft can definitely be used as a second bedroom however, open concept provides limited privacy for a second adult couple and the spiral staircase, while aesthetically pleasing, would have made me very nervous had our young daughter been staying with us. Easy access to the beach and I LOVED having covered parking (enough for 2 vehicles) but the beach access shower was not working at the time of our stay (it was off season, that could be why). Clothes dryer does have to be ran twice, but at least we were just happy to have one in the unit. Overall We did not want to leave and can not wait to return.

"Ocean Dunes 1507 provided the perfect weekend getaway location with beautiful views and only steps from the sand! Condo was exactly as advertised and although it is an older building, it is updated nicely and was clean on arrival. Sea Coast Rentals was easy to work with and I look forward to returning to this condo!

"The condo we rented was excellent overall. The owners are apparently still making some improvements, but it's already a great place to stay. It's on the beach, close to the rec center, has great TVs and wifi, and is clean with a great kitchen. Bring your own knife and frying pan, though. They haven't updated those yet. All in all a great unit!

"First time too Kure Beach and this Property. Both my sons and I were very impressed with the Town House. Couldn't ask for a better location in the Ocean Dunes complex. Short walk too both outdoor pools as well as the Clubhouse and all it has too offer. Loft was spacious but staircase is difficult for larger adults and teens. Everything was in excellent condition and very nice. View of the Beach and Ocean is picture perfect. Everyone we met during our week there was friendly and polite which made an added reason we will seek too return one day.

"We have stayed in this particular unit 4 times. We LOVE the upgrades!! 2 suggestions - Get high top table and chairs for deck and curtains for the sliding glass doors. The place was clean and well stocked and truly lovely. Our 16 year old niece loved the loft bedroom and the king bed down was very comfortable. I accidentally left a necklace when we checked out and the staff at UBV found it and helped me get it returned. 20 years of vacationing in Ocean Dunes and we are NEVER dissatisfied!!

"We joyed our stay. What would have made it a bit better was for the owners to have those tall chairs on the porch. The railings are so high that you can't have a totally clear view of the ocean (first world problem!!) The last place I stayed, there were 4 very tall deck chairs with arms on the deck and you could look out over the ocean with an unrestricted view of the ocean. We did report a problem on Tuesday that the towel bar had fallen and it nobody had come to fix it by Saturday. I didn't care, but the next people to come might be bothered by it. Thought it odd that maintenance was not prompt.
