Welcome to Sands IV - 2G! Step out of your bedroom to watch the sun rise on our spacious ocean-facing porch. The whole family can join you there for day-long ocean breezes, al fresco dining, or a bit of shade to curl up under with a book when they aren't playing in the surf right below. Our beautifully furnished condo has been completely remodeled for your comfort and contentment. There is no stress for meals at home in our lovingly upgraded kitchen, with the Carolina Beach Farmers Market right across the street at the lake, or local farm fresh produce a block away at Veggie Wagon. Fancy a meal out? Barbecue is only a two-block walk away, or you can have Kates Pancakes or Vinnies Pizza within a four-block walk. Life is easy here - immerse yourself in our soft-sided furnishings amidst tasteful, neutral decor and make Sands IV 2G your retreat for the ultimate beach leisure lifestyle.

Ground Level:
Private community boardwalk to the beach, oceanfront outdoor pool, picnic, and cornhole area, shared charcoal grills, tandem covered parking for 2 vehicles, and stairwell to the property level.
Beach chairs and umbrella in storage unit for guest use.

Property Level:
Kitchen: Full kitchen with granite countertops, custom tile backsplash, double stainless sink, full-size range, dishwasher, and stainless steel refrigerator. View of the Carolina Beach Lake.
Dining Room: Seating for 6 at the table.
Living Room: Oceanfront, smart TV, 1 sleeper sofa with queen, 1 side chair, coffee table, ceiling fan.
Oceanfront Deck: Access from the living room and master bedroom. Overlooks the ocean. Pub table with 4 chairs, 2 rocking chairs, 2 Adirondack chairs, with 2 cocktail tables.
Primary Bedroom Suite: Oceanfront, smart TV, king-size bed, ceiling fan, private access to the patio, En-suite Bathroom with Vanity, walk-in shower.
Bedroom 1: Queen-size bed, twin-size bed, smart TV, ceiling fan, attached bathroom.
Guest Bathroom: Vanity, shower/tub combo.
Stackable Washer and dryer

Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and laying on the end of the beds.

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Things to bring:
Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Off Season Check-ins begin at 3 pm and are guaranteed by 5 pm
Check-out is by 10 am.
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

House Rules:
No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities
No smoking
You must be at least 25 to rent this unit.

Pool Notice:
Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

Pet Policy:
No pets allowed.

We want to make sure you’re aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.

Things to do:
Adventure awaits. Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or enjoy a relaxing ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a quaint little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak-covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famous Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking, and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Whether it’s exploring activities on the island, enjoying the ocean views, or enjoying a cocktail by sunset from your own private balcony, Pleasure Island offers diversion for every enthusiast!
Explore the treasures of Carolina Beach, ranked one of the top 10 boardwalks in the country by Food & Wine magazine. One of the last remaining beach boardwalks on the East Coast, it includes a variety of restaurants, an arcade, shops, ice cream, Famous Britts Donuts, bars, and more! During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, carnival rides, bingo, family nights, and events like the weekly fireworks and concert series. Annual off-season events include the Cape Fear Kite Festival, Christmas by the Sea, and the Island of Lights Festival.

Neighborhood

Sea Coast Input - Carolina Beach boardwalk offers shopping, locally owned restaurants , ice cream & fudge shops and let’s not forget the vibrant nightlife. During the summer months the local gazebo has live music and bingo. Fishing charter boats, nightly party cruises, pontoon boats are also available. Or explore the Carolina Beach State Park. Neighboring Kure beach offers a charming downtown with locally owned restaurants ,Oceanfront park and a 712-foot long fishing pier. Fort Fisher is located at the southern end of the island where you can visit the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum and the North Carolina Aquarium. There are approximately 10 golf courses within a 1 hour drive and for those “historic” buffs, take a day trip to Downtown Wilmington or one of the other local islands via ferry.

Getting Around

Sea Coast Input : Parking may be limited during the summer months (public parking is available through Pleasure Island at an hourly rate).
Carolina / Kure Beach is easily navigable once you're here. Our beach towns are very accessible and family friendly for vehicles, bikes and golf carts. Renting bikes and golf carts is a breeze with the many rental companies on the island. Advance reservations are recommended beach accessories. Escape the hustle and bustle of the beaches of Carolina/Kure Beach and explore the Carolina Beach state park and its’ many hiking trails. Or the Carolina Beach Greenway walking trail.
For a day trip travel from Ft. Fisher to Southport aboard the Southport Car Ferry and their many antique stores.

"We absolutely loved our stay here! It was big enough for me, my husband and our daughter! It was clean, cool and had an amazing view. My husband loved sitting out on the deck with his binoculars and watching the boats and planes! We walked to the boardwalk several times as it is very close!! You do have to walk up 4 (half) flights of steps, just an fyi! We would definitely stay again and plan to!!

"Amazing stay at a gorgeous home. Beds were so comfy, I didn’t want to get up. But when I did, wow, what a view! From sunrise to sunset, complete unobstructed view of the beach, ocean and sky. Amazing! The whole apartment is perfectly appointed and within a stones throw of all the cute shops and restaurants. No need to drive..just meander the boardwalk to find it all. Will definitely be back. Perfect!

Perfect for Walking to all Carolina Beach has to offer

"We had a great stay at Sands IV 2G. The location is perfect for walking to all that Carolina Beach has to offer. The unit is well stocked, clean and very comfortable. We had one slight issue with the air conditioning and after calling, maintenance was quick to arrive and fix the problem. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

"Very rarely do I sleep well in strange beds...this was the exception. A very comfortable clean a stylish setup with a nice deck out back overlooking the ocean. Well stocked etc. Nice appliances…my wife could tell you all the good stuff there.

"The property was exactly what we expected from the listing. It was bright, clean and nicely decorated, a perfect beach theme. There was an issue with the washer/dryer which they notified us of prior to check-in and offered complimentary laundry service if we needed it prior to being repaired. The only complaint I would have would be in regards to parking. The space is extremely tight and getting in and out is a bit stressful. With that being said, I would still consider returning to this property for a future vacation. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

"This was a perfect vacation home. The views and location couldn’t have been better. The house was extremely well stocked and clean. The washer/dryer were not working but management staff was quick to respond and seemed to make every attempt to rectify the situation was made. Would love to rent this same again!

"Our family was fortunate to escape the frigid Northeast and stay for a week in January at Sands IV in Carolina Beach. This charming and IMMACULATE condo was decorated tastefully and offered all the comforts of home while providing a STUNNING oceanfront view. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped and the large deck offered a variety of comfortable seating. Sands IV is conveniently located to everything with a private pool and beach entrance! Park your car and walk to restaurants, ice cream, shops, Carolina Beach Lake Park or the Boardwalk. You can't go wrong booking here - definitely deserves a 5++ rating!

"My husband, son and I booked a week’s stay at Sands IV in January to celebrate my birthday and to escape the cold. We wanted an oceanfront rental that was convenient to restaurants and shopping and this charming condo exceeded our expectations in every way! To begin with, the rental process and check-in instructions were super easy. There is on-site covered parking, but the condo is so conveniently located, that we walked almost everywhere. Carolina Beach Lake is so close you can see it from the kitchen window and the Boardwalk is a short stroll down the beach. The Veggie Wagon, a popular carry-out restaurant/store was a favorite destination of ours and is a stone’s throw away. Honestly, this condo is in the PERFECT LOCATION to park your car and leave it! Upon arrival, we found the accommodations to be IMMACULATE and beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and lovely den furniture. A spacious deck had a nice variety of seating options including rocking chairs, a pub height table with barstools and a lounger. I enjoyed my morning coffee watching the sunrise over the ocean - pure bliss! While we didn’t do much cooking, the kitchen was fully-equipped and not lacking anything. Everything we needed was there. We couldn’t have asked for a better condo for our vacation! Sands IV deserves a 5++ rating and we hope to return!
