With plenty of amenities for children and family, you’re sure to find comfort and relaxation during your stay. You will Shore Enough love your home away from home!

Welcome to the highly desirable Ocean Dunes resort! Our vacation rental is located on the oceanfront, giving you access to an expanse of stunning beachfront views at the southern tip of Pleasure Island. Enjoy the amenities of the resort, including multiple outdoor pools, tennis courts, shuffle board, grills, and playgrounds for the kids. After a day at the beach, visit the recreation center for an indoor pool, spa, sauna, exercise room and clubhouse. Relax, unwind, and make lasting memories at this beautiful destination!

Ground Level:
Assigned covered parking for two vehicles, exterior stairs to property level.
Fitness Center across the street from the 2100 building.
This is a reminder that all three outdoor pools will be closed as of October 31. They are scheduled to re-open on April 1 2024.
The Rec Center pool is opened year-round with the exception of holidays or for any routine or emergency maintenance scheduled at the Rec Center.

Rental Policies:

In response to increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-Ins (June-August) begin at 4pm and are guaranteed by 6pm
Off Season Check-Ins begin at 3pm and are guaranteed by 5pm
Check Out is by 10 am.
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Electronic lock entry.

House Rules:
No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities
No Smoking

Pet Policy:
No pets allowed with travelers. The Ocean Dunes Community has a strict policy that only condo owners are allowed to bring pets.

Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking
- After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee
- After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re rented. If premises are re rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee.

*This property has pest control scheduled for the second Tuesday-Thursday of every month. You do not need to be present, but access must be granted.*

Things To Do:

Adventure awaits. Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or enjoy a relaxing ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a quaint little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famous Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Whether it’s exploring activities on the island, enjoying the ocean views, or enjoying a cocktail by sunset from your own private balcony, Pleasure Island offers diversion for every enthusiast!

Explore the treasures of Carolina Beach, ranked one of the top 10 boardwalks in the country by Food & Wine magazine. One of the last remaining beach boardwalks on the East Coast, it includes a variety of restaurants, arcade, shops, ice cream, Famous Britts Donuts, bars, and more! During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, carnival rides, bingo, family nights, and events like the weekly fireworks and concert series. Rent a Jeep, bicycle, or golf cart as the most convenient ways to navigate the island. Annual off- season events include the Cape Fear Kite Festival, Christmas by the Sea, and the Island of Lights Festival.

Layout of the condo was perfect 08/28/2023

The layout of the condo was perfect for a family. Everyone had their on bedroom and bath. We had a great family vacation. Our grandson was so excited to sleep in the top bunk and loved the stairs going up to his bed. The only negative, I wish we had a ramp to get to the beach. We have a beach wagon we use and carrying it up and down the steps was hard. All and all I recommend this place.

This was not the initial property we booked. We found out a week before we travelled that our original choice would be closed for necessary work. SeaCoastRentals suggested another couple of options and we chose this one. I think it probably worked out better than our first choice. It was a lovely spot for three adults, everyone had their own space and all amenities were quality choices. The view is extraordinary, from the living room it feels like you’re floating above the ocean. The beach is gorgeous and perfect for long walks. We’re very grateful to SeaCoastRentals for their recommendation and open communication. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

The townhouse is very spacious and has 2 amazing decks where you can hear the waves as you sleep. Make sure to bring your paper products, laundry detergent, dish detergent. If you’re bringing kids to play in the water there are rocks right in front of this property and need to be careful when diving into the water if the tide is high. The area is beautiful and great place to find amazing shells.

We had 3 generations together to enjoy. From my 82 year old mother, my sister her twin girls and 4 of her 7 seven grand children 8 years old, 3 year old and my 2 18 month old twin great niece and nephew we had an amazing time. Special time to sown with family.

The property was very clean, and the beach access is walking steps from the pier. The communication with the property manager(s) was very swift, constant, and clear. I loved the email and text communication! The only thing this property needs to work on is TV and AC information. We are a young group and had trouble working the TVs and the downstairs TV in the first bedroom kept popping off. The upstairs masters bedroom was extremely HOT and we could not adjust the unit because it kept asking for a code! Beautiful property, and my family and parents enjoyed it.
