Linens - Beds will be made with clean sheets, bath towels will be lying on the end of the beds, bathmats provided in each bathroom, kitchen towel and dish sponge provided. (Guest will need to make any trundle, sofa beds, or top bunks.)

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4pm and are guaranteed by 6pm
Check Out is by 10 am.
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Pool Notice:
Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

Elevator Policies:
Please note, the elevator is for convenience only and does not guarantee ADA Compliance or Wheelchair accessibility. Although elevators are checked on a regular basis, Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable if the elevator is not operating or functioning properly during your stay. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

Pet Policy:
No pets allowed.
While this is not a pet friendly property, from time to time the owner of the property has a dog on the premises.

Cancellation Policy:
We want to make sure you’re aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.

Neighborhood

Topsail Island is a hidden gem along the NC coast, known for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and charming coastal towns like Surf City. From sunbathing and swimming to fishing and surfing, there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy on this beautiful island. Explore the local shops and restaurants, take a fishing cruise out with an area fishing guide, or simply relax on the beach and soak up the sun. With so much to see and do on Topsail Island, your vacation will be filled with unforgettable memories and moments of pure relaxation. Topsail Island is a 28-mile-long barrier island made up of marshes, estuaries, dunes, and shorelines. Sandwiched between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, “Tops’l” as the locals call it, is home to several fishing piers including the Seaview Fishing Pier. 875 feet of planks were used to construct this pier, which is the longest pier on the North Carolina coast. Privately owned shops, restaurants and attractions abound on Topsail, as well as the neighboring mainland towns. Learn the history of Topsail at the Missiles and More Museum and understand how to be a good steward of the sea at the Touch Tank Aquarium in Surf City and the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation Center for laid back and family friendly things to do on Topsail. Each of these attractions offers its own unique charm and adds to the allure of a vacation on Topsail Island.

Getting Around

Parking may be limited during the summer months (public parking is available through Pivot Parking at an hourly rate). Surf City/ North Topsail Beaches are easily navigable once you're here. Our beach town is very accessible and family-friendly for vehicles, bikes, and golf carts. Renting bikes and golf carts is a breeze with the many rental companies on the island. Advanced reservations are recommended. Escape the hustle and bustle of the beaches of Surf City/ North Topsail Beach and explore the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue Center or take a scenic Tiki Tour through the Intracoastal Waterway.

Beautiful – stay longer!

"This is truly a beautiful home that is designed for larger families to come together and have an incredible time. We loved the house, the pool, the pickleball court and proximity to the beach. For those we give it 5/5! Not a deal breaker for us, but the deer flies are very real and can be a nuisance at times. They weren't out all day, everyday, but they were definitely around, and they do bite. I recommend bringing some repellent and/or something to treat bites. Again, not a deal breaker, it could have been a bad season for them (our stay was in May). I also think that's part of what you get staying near the intercoastal, which is beautiful if you're a nature person & love birds.We had one issue with the hot tub needing additional cleaning, but the maintenance team sent their 3rd party vendor back to clean it the next day after we told them about it (unfortunately it was not in time to be helpful to us). We just didn't use the hot tub. We would rent here again. Knowing what we know now we would:- Bring deer fly repellent.- Have extra bath/pool towels (we had 20 people).- Plan meals at the house better (Beautiful fully equipped kitchen!!!).- Stay longer!

"The "Big Dill" checks all the boxes. The pool, beach and property are the best Carolina coast has to offer. Property is in excellent condition and has everything you can ask for fun, cooking and relaxation. The only time you want to leave property is to pick up food or drink (10 minute ride). Or go to the beach which is a few minute walk. The many decks offer privacy or group fun.

"We had a very good week at The Big Dill! The house was very accommodating and met every need for our large family. The kitchen was tremendous! The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable. The kids and adult alike loved the large pool and pickleball areas which made for lots of fun. The outside cooking amenities were wonderful, and we thoroughly enjoyed using them. The ocean was a short walk from the home. We definitely had a 5-star experience and plan on staying at The Big Dill again.

"If our family could give more than 5 stars we would. It has been difficult in the past to find a vacation home large enough to accommodate our big family. The king size beds and en suite bathrooms made it feasible for 5 families and their kids to stay in one house. The Big Dill has every amenity you could possibly need during your stay. Fully stocked kitchen, beach amenities, pickleball and pool equipment were much appreciated. It was so nice to have the big screen tv and couch downstairs so the kids could have their own “hang out” space. The fact that the house is located within gated community gave us added privacy and a stretch of beach behind the neighborhood that was not crowded. Cannot say enough about how well-planned and designed the house is for a large group. We will absolutely be back!

"The Big Dill truly exceeded our expectations. The house was magnificent and we all enjoyed the amenities, especially the pool. When my granddaughter first saw the house, she said it was a blue Barbie's Dream House and kids are not easily impressed. The kitchen was incredible and is now my fantasy kitchen. The huge island really made meal prep easy (it should probably be called a continent...it's so big) and everyone had space to enjoy our meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and quite spacious. The grandkids really enjoyed the bunkroom and made it their own space through the week. Thank you for making our vacation a memorable one!

"It was a joy being the first renters! It was an amazing place to make so many lifelong memories with our family! We visited the Turtle Rescue Center in Surf City as well as the Hidden Ship Distillery as well as the beach. The property has set for some EPIC home cooking in the gorgeous kitchen. There are also also plenty of things to do in and at the property from puzzles, pickleball, swimming pool Olympics, and much more! Our favorite memories were take family photos on the beach, watching the sea turtles hatch and go to the sea, and especially finishing an extremely hard puzzle!
