Things To Do
Topsail Island is a hidden gem along the NC coast, known for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and charming coastal towns like Surf City. From sunbathing and swimming to fishing and surfing, there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy on this beautiful island. Explore the local shops and restaurants, take a fishing cruise out with an area fishing guide, or simply relax on the beach and soak up the sun. With so much to see and do on Topsail Island, your vacation will be filled with unforgettable memories and moments of pure relaxation. Topsail Island is a 28-mile-long barrier island made up of marshes, estuaries, dunes, and shorelines. Sandwiched between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, “Tops’l” as the locals call it, is home to several fishing piers including the Seaview Fishing Pier. 875 feet of planks were used to construct this pier, which is the longest pier on the North Carolina coast. Privately owned shops, restaurants and attractions abound on Topsail, as well as the neighboring mainland towns. Learn the history of Topsail at the Missiles and More Museum and understand how to be a good steward of the sea at the Touch Tank Aquarium in Surf City and the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation Center for laid back and family friendly things to do on Topsail. Each of these attractions offers its own unique charm and adds to the allure of a vacation on Topsail Island.

Great stay!

Review Date: December 18, 2025

Vacation Date: June 10, 2025

"We had a great stay. The property has a great view and we appreciated the covered balcony overlooking the beach. We were able to play with our kids in the sand while their grandparents watched from the balcony. The elevator also made things easier for loading and unloading and the carts were convenient. Our kids enjoyed the pool a lot and it was never too crowded. There isn’t much beachfront at high tide, but it was still usable and we just enjoyed the waves. Our kids’ favorite thing was searching for shark teeth (we found over 100!). The only downside was that there are some portions of the unit that are aging. The sliding glass doors were hard to open. These didn’t affect our overall enjoyment of the unit, but were minor inconveniences. Overall, we were pleased and would stay here again.
