Welcome to Sea Colony 16A! Your peaceful Primary Bedroom Suite with an ensuite bath will whisk you away to restful sleep. Kids and guests will love the freshly refurnished guest bedroom and sofa bed. You'll have all the basics you need at Sea Colony 16A to either prepare meals at home or walk to the nearby Ocean Grill and Tiki Bar. Enjoy the beach right in your front yard.
Please note: the Sea Colony Pool is closed for the winter after October 1, 2024.

Long known as an economical Oceanfront Community, Sea Colony offers one of the most spacious and lush grounds you will find in any other Oceanfront complex and features a beautiful oceanfront pool and private walkway to the beach. Sliding glass doors with a full front window wall create indoor-outdoor living space in the family room. You will love spending time on the large 9x15 balcony while you feast your eyes on the magnificent Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy the community gazebo, oceanfront pool, and wonderful landscaping with expansive green lawns. The location has easy access on and off the island, avoiding heavy season traffic by using Dow Rd. Ample-lighted parking for 2 vehicles in the parking area requires a fully displayed parking pass at all times. The HOA does check frequently during the season to protect your right to park there as a guest. Vehicles not displaying a pass will be towed.

Dedicated parking lot, elevator, or stairwell to property level. Pool, Outdoor shower, boardwalk to beach, picnic grounds.

Living Room: Queen sleeper sofa, 2 chairs, Deck Access.

Living Room SmartCast Vizio TV, allows for changing the Input to Smartcast to stream from NetFlix, HBO Max, AmazonPrime, etc. Use your own log-in credentials to be able to log into these apps and stream on the living room TV.

Kitchen: Fully equipped, Full-size refrigerator, electric range, Microwave, Double Sink

Dining Area: Table w/ 6 chairs

Primary Bedroom Suite: King bed, Double Nightstands, Dresser with Mirror, Writing desk, Console and TV with Cable, Side Chair, En suite Bathroom has Bathtub with Shower, Single Vanity, Toilet

Guest Bedroom: 2 Twin beds, Nightstand, Console and TV with Cable, Chest of Drawers,

Shared Hallway Bathroom: Bathtub with Shower, Single Vanity, Toilet

Deck: Oceanfront, Table w/ seating for 4

Parking:

2 Parking spaces available, passes required

Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and laying on the end of the beds.

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Things to bring:
Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Off Season Check-ins begin at 3 pm and are guaranteed by 5 pm
Check-out is by 10 am.
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Guest Access:
Hard Key.

House Rules:
No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities
No smoking
You must be at least 25 to rent this unit.

Elevator Policies:
Please note, the elevator is for convenience only and does not guarantee ADA Compliance or Wheelchair accessibility. Although elevators are checked on a regular basis, Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable if the elevator is not operating or functioning properly during your stay. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

Pool Notice:
Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

Pet Policy:
No pets allowed.

Cancellation Policy:
- Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking
- After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation debit.
- After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re-rented. If premises are re-rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation debit.

Things to do:
Adventure awaits. Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or enjoy a relaxing ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a quaint little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak-covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famous Ft. Fisher Hermit. Or wind down with nature at our two state parks, sure to provide a memorable experience with hiking, fishing, and water activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking, and search for a Venus Flytrap which is native to NC only. As one of North Carolina's most undeveloped beaches, the island offers a unique opportunity to see many diverse coastal wildlife, including pelicans and loggerhead sea turtles, in their natural habitat. Whether it’s exploring activities on the island, enjoying the ocean views, or enjoying a cocktail by sunset from your own private balcony, Pleasure Island offers diversion for every enthusiast!

Explore the treasures of Carolina Beach, ranked one of the top 10 boardwalks in the country by Food & Wine magazine. One of the last remaining beach boardwalks on the East Coast, it includes a variety of restaurants, an arcade, shops, ice cream, Famous Britts Donuts, bars, and more! During the summer months, the Boardwalk is bustling with the sound of music, carnival rides, bingo, family nights, and events like the weekly fireworks and concert series. Rent a Jeep, bicycle, or golf cart as the most convenient ways to navigate the island. Annual off-season events include the Cape Fear Kite Festival, Christmas by the Sea, and the Island of Lights Festival.

"We loved our time in Carolina Beach. Our condo was clean and comfy. Close access to the pool and beach, which we loved so we could come in for lunch and not have to drag a cooler with us. We also loved being close enough to the boardwalk area so the kids could have some fun in the evenings, but not so close that it was crazy busy. No complaints at all and definitely recommend!

"My wife and I had rented this unit several times over the years. Now that she is gone I decided to return to Sea Colony 16A. When I entered it was just like returning home again. It was the perfect location for me. I found everything I needed. I will definitely be renting this unit again in the future.

Beautiful View, Easy Access to the Beach

"We felt that this property was very accurately portrayed but I think that the view is much more beautiful in person. The unit was very clean and had the amenities we needed, we had no issues with anything in the apartment. A Keurig would have been nice but we survived! This is beyond the control of the rental company or the owners but it was irritating to hear people walking above us. They weren’t doing anything out of the ordinary, it’s just a pet peeve that I have! The pool was clean and easy to access, parking was always readily available, we were very close to so many different activities! The rental company was great, my only comment would be that I received several emails with loads of information, often duplicate information. But I appreciated that they kept in contact with us! If We return to Carolina Beach, I would definitely stay here again and probably book directly through the rental company’s website!

"Had a wonderful stay, weather was great. Only suggestion was to restore chains on ceiling fans in both bedrooms and living room - was unable to turn off or adjust fan speeds, only able to turn fans & lights off and on.

"Beautiful property! Lovely oceanfront condo. Caribbean colors inside. Well kept and complete with stylish accouterments. Only problem was beautiful large big screen tv in main room had only one HDMI working which necessitated switching cable and blu-ray cords. A bit of a hassle.

Also someone either above us or beside us smoked a lot and the vapors drifted into our balcony. All of these things were not the fault of the unit or Sea Coast Rentals. The unit is very comfortable and had most things needed. We did not bring a tea kettle because the photo showed one but we could not find it. Sea Coast responded immediately when we could not get the TV to work and when we requested bath mats. Very impressive! The staff were all friendly and accommodating and check in and out was easy. We are very impressed with Sea Coast Rentals.

"Let me start with the fact that I live on Maui so I have an idea about beach vacation places. With that said I’d rate the Sea Colony property as high as I’d rate a first class resort on Maui. The property was well kept and well maintained. Everything worked as it should. I would definitely return to this property again.

"We had a very pleasant stay in 16A at Sea Colony and immensely enjoyed the annual Seafood/Blues/Jazz Festival as well. The condo was clean, very nicely furnished and tastefully decorated, and contained every amenity that we could have hoped for. "We've stayed at Sea Colony 16A for a week on a number of occasions over the past few years. This unit is outstanding! The proximity to the beach, the ocean front view from the deck on the 2nd level are superb. For old folks like us, the elevator is a must. The unit is always clean and ready to move in. Internet access has allowed us to plan our trips and restaurant visits during our stays, as well as keeping in touch with our family. We love to fish on the nearby Kure Beach Pier or in the surf at a number of sites. Great large flat screen TV in living room with blu-ray/dvd player and flat screen TVs in each of the 2 bedrooms. We won't look for any other rental at Carolina/Kure Beach - we're patient and make our reservations for Sea Colony 16A early.

"We really like the Sea Colony condos. The deck on the back is probably our favorite part. Love the view and the size of the decks. Love walking to the tiki bar and enjoy the food at the restaurant as well. We have been coming to Carolina beach now for years and will continue to do so. Dealing with United Beach was so easy and will use them again as well!

"16A Sea Colony is a beautiful two-bedroom condo which has been updated to a high standard. It is decorated in bright Caribbean colors. Everything is clean and well-cared for. The view from the front porch is stunning. Large flat screen TV with Blu-Ray player in living room. Flat screen TV's in both bedrooms also. Washer and dryer is a lovely addition. The only problem is the poor Wi-Fi connection which is in this electronic age a real problem.
