Completely remodeled throughout, Happy Turtle is ready to make you happy at North Topsail Beach! Shipwatch Villas is an oceanfront condominium located at the northern tip of the island where you can enjoy a private beach access and oceanfront swimming pool with sundeck. Wooden walkways link the entire Shipwatch community and extend to dune bridges that provide easy and convenient access to the beach. A large swimming pool provides fun for both residents and guests. Barbeque grills in garden settings are available and are the perfect way to end a tranquil afternoon on the island. Additionally you have easy access to local amenities like running and bike paths, a seasonal farmers market, outdoor musical events, and much more. With gorgeous ocean views from your balcony, living room, and primary bedroom suite, you will find yourself immersed in the perfect water escape for your ideal beach vacation.

Primary Ensuite Bath: custom tile shower, toilet, oak vanity , shaker mirror, solid surface countertop & single sink
Guest Bedroom: 2 double beds, credenza with Smart TV, ceiling fan
Guest Bath: double vanity, bathtub and shower with tile surround, toilet
Laundry: washer and dryer

Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and lying on the end of the beds.

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-Ins (June-August) begin at 4:00 pm and are guaranteed by 6:00 pm
Check Out is by 10:00 am
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Elevator Policies:
Please note, the elevator is for convenience only and does not guarantee ADA Compliance or Wheelchair accessibility. Although elevators are checked on a regular basis, Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable if the elevator is not operating or functioning properly during your stay. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

Pool Notice:
Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Rentals/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.

Pet Policy: No Pets Allowed

Cancellation Policy:
We want to make sure you’re aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.

Things To Do on Topsail Island
Topsail Island is a hidden gem along the NC coast, known for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and charming coastal towns like Surf City. From sunbathing and swimming to fishing and surfing, there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy on this beautiful island. Explore the local shops and restaurants, take a fishing cruise out with an area fishing guide, or simply relax on the beach and soak up the sun. With so much to see and do on Topsail Island, your vacation will be filled with unforgettable memories and moments of pure relaxation. Topsail Island is a 28-mile-long barrier island made up of marshes, estuaries, dunes, and shorelines. Sandwiched between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, “Tops’l” as the locals call it, is home to several fishing piers including the Seaview Fishing Pier. 875 feet of planks were used to construct this pier, which is the longest pier on the North Carolina coast. Privately owned shops, restaurants and attractions abound on Topsail, as well as the neighboring mainland towns. Learn the history of Topsail at the Missiles and More Museum and understand how to be a good steward of the sea at the Touch Tank Aquarium in Surf City and the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation Center for laid back and family friendly things to do on Topsail. Getting Around

Parking may be limited during the summer months (public parking is available through Pivot Parking at an hourly rate). Surf City/ North Topsail Beaches are easily navigable once you're here. Our beach town is very accessible and family-friendly for vehicles, bikes, and golf carts. Renting bikes and golf carts is a breeze with the many rental companies on the island. Advanced reservations are recommended. Escape the hustle and bustle of the beaches of Surf City/ North Topsail Beach and explore the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue Center or take a scenic Tiki Tour through the Intracoastal Waterway.

"Great location - Well kept condo with easy access to the beach. Happy Turtle has everything you need for a great vacation. It was our fifth time staying there (second time renting through Seacoast Rentals), and we plan on coming back. We have been vacationing at North Topsail beach for over 25 years and the Happy Turtle is by far the best place we have stayed - we WILL be back! Must add that renting through Seacoast Rentals was a breeze and included all linens and towels. Owner has numerous beach items (chairs, umbrellas, games, etc) for the renters choice. Can't wait til next year!

Spacious and Clean

"Based on the VRBO description the condo was as described. It was fairly spacious and clean. The kitchen was fully stocked and all items were in good condition. We loved the sectional couch that fit our entire family comfortably. There was a nice ocean view, great patio furniture to relax on day and night, and easy access to the beach. The owner also provided beach chairs, umbrellas, etc which was nice but the umbrellas needed to be replaced. They were damaged. Hopefully that was mentioned to the owners by others who stayed before us. We didn't realize this until the last day. Overall, we had a great stay and we'd rent again.
