Dining Nook: seats 8 at traditional dining table. Door to back yard sun deck.
New build back yard sun deck: picnic tables, side chairs.
Primary King Suite: king bed, ceiling fan, chest of drawers, wall mounted smart TV, ensuite bath.
Primary Ensuite Bath: double vanity with solid surface top, custom tile rain shower, toilet.
Guest Bedroom 3: queen bed, dresser and mirror, luggage rack, access to shared bath.
Guest Bath: linen storage, bathtub, tile shower surround, single vanity, toilet.

Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and lying on the end of the beds.

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Things to bring:
Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Check-out is by 10 am.
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

We want to make sure you’re aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.

Exploring the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, home to incredible coastal wildlife, or take the scenic car ferry across the Cape Fear River for a relaxing visit to the charming town of Southport where quaint streets are filled with unique antique shops and galleries. History lovers can walk the scenic, live‑oak‑lined trails of the Fort Fisher State Historic Site, where Civil War bunkers still stand. Nature enthusiasts will love the island’s two state‑managed coastal preserves: Carolina Beach State Park, home to rare Venus flytraps found naturally only in this region, and the Fort Fisher State Recreation Area, known for pristine beaches, marshes, and wildlife viewing. Getting Around

Getting around Pleasure Island is a breeze! While parking can be limited in peak season, especially in popular spots, paid private or public parking is available. We recommend exploring Carolina Beach and Kure Beach on foot or by bike – they're super walkable and bike-friendly. You'll find safe pedestrian and bike routes, including the Island Greenway. Renting a golf cart or bike is easy, too, with several local rental companies. Golf carts are one of the easiest ways to cruise around the island. Rentals are simple to arrange, and once you're behind the wheel, you can zip along any road posted 35 mph or under.

"The house looks much bigger in person than in pictures! It is gorgeous inside and out. The kitchen was amazing. It had everything we needed. The huge table could accommodate everyone. We especially enjoyed the rocking chairs on the porch. The kids loved the ping pong table. Our stay was perfect.

"What a great find at Fish N Hooks! This was perfect for our family of 7 (including a 2 year old toddler) plenty of space to spread out. The garage space is set up nicely for a hang out area. Both porches are also nice to spend time on. 2 beach accesses less than 5 minute walk. The neighborhood beach access has a hose for rinsing off sandy feet. Walkable distance to the Kure beach pier and boardwalk. We will definitely be back!

"This house had every thing we needed— short walk to the beach, perfect couch for the entire family to relax, rockers on the front porch, well equipped kitchen, ping pong for the kids and space for us all to eat together.
