Step back in time to a slower pace and a simpler lifestyle in this affordable, tiny vacation power package on Topsail Island. Experience water views on both sides of the house, with unbeatable sunsets across the sound. Chill Out Cottage is snuggled into a shallow water bay right off Stump Sound. Drop a fishing line off your dock morning or evening, and spend the midday in the waves and sand right across the road. Bring your kayak and paddleboards so you can drift in the water watching wildlife at the Permuda Island Reserve right off your back yard dock. Don't have your own? No problem; kayak rentals are right next door!

Ground Level: Free private parking for 4 vehicles, boat trailers are allowed. Private dock with access to Topsail Inlet Waterway. Private outdoor hot shower. Gas grill. Extra storage with washer and dryer. Stairs to Entrance.

Level 2: We are a one story cottage on pilings.
Open Living Area: sofa, loveseat, TV, dining table seating 6, kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, electric range.

Bedroom 1: Queen bed
Shared Hallway Bath: bathtub and shower, farmhouse ceramic sink, toilet.
Bedroom 2: Double bed

Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and lying on the end of the beds.

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-Ins (June-August) begin at 4:00 pm and are guaranteed by 6:00 pm
Check Out is by 10:00 am
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

We want to make sure you’re aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.

Topsail Island is a hidden gem along the NC coast, known for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and charming coastal towns like Surf City. From sunbathing and swimming to fishing and surfing, there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy on this beautiful island. Explore the local shops and restaurants, take a fishing cruise out with an area fishing guide, or simply relax on the beach and soak up the sun. With so much to see and do on Topsail Island, your vacation will be filled with unforgettable memories and moments of pure relaxation. Topsail Island is a 28-mile-long barrier island made up of marshes, estuaries, dunes, and shorelines. Sandwiched between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, “Tops’l” as the locals call it, is home to several fishing piers including the Seaview Fishing Pier. 875 feet of planks were used to construct this pier, which is the longest pier on the North Carolina coast. Privately owned shops, restaurants and attractions abound on Topsail, as well as the neighboring mainland towns. Learn the history of Topsail at the Missiles and More Museum and understand how to be a good steward of the sea at the Touch Tank Aquarium in Surf City and the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation Center for laid back and family friendly things to do on Topsail. Each of these attractions offers its own unique charm and adds to the allure of a vacation on Topsail Island.

Neighborhood

Surf City/ North Topsail Beaches offer shopping, locally owned restaurants, ice cream & fudge shops and let’s not forget the Jolly Rodgers Pier. During the summer months we have Fishing charter boats; pontoon boats and jet skis are also available. Surf City offers several local owned boutiques, family restaurants, parks, and a 937-foot-long fishing pier. Surf City is also home to the exciting Missiles and More museum Which is a former missile plant turned into a museum. You can also relax during your stay at the Sound Park to enjoy live bands and on special nights bring your chair and watch an outdoor movie. There are approximately 7 golf courses within the Topsail Area that are open to the public.

Getting Around

Sea Coast Input : Parking may be limited during the summer months (public parking is available through Pleasure Island at an hourly rate).
Carolina / Kure Beach is easily navigable once you're here. Our beach towns are very accessible and family friendly for vehicles, bikes and golf carts. Renting bikes and golf carts is a breeze with the many rental companies on the island. Advance reservations are recommended beach accessories. Escape the hustle and bustle of the beaches of Carolina/Kure Beach and explore the Carolina Beach state park and its’ many hiking trails. Or the Carolina Beach Greenway walking trail.
For a day trip travel from Ft. Fisher to Southport aboard the Southport Car Ferry and their many antique stores.

"My wife and I rented chillout cottage for 3 months Jan-Mar. We are remote workers and were looking to get out of the cold. The location of this place is amazing. Right across the street from beach access and centralized on the island to get to all the shops and restaurants! The house was great, we were worried about the bed being comfortable since we were staying for so long and it was very comfortable!! The place had everything we needed and it ended up feeling like home! We didn't want to leave when our time was up. It was so nice having a home with a washer and dryer. The internet was super fast allowing us to both work during the day. The other great thing from this experience was Nicole and the SeaCoast rental team. They are very quick to respond, and truly want you to have a wonderful experience! I will definitely be renting through Nicole and Sea Coast rentals again!!

"My wife and I rented this little cottage for a last minute getaway. It is a very nice cottage and is perfect for two people, and we really enjoyed Topsail and Surf City. The cottage has a nice front porch, and the back deck looks out to the Sound. It is a very easy walk to the beach and nearby beach access--about a 10th of a mile. The cottage is very comfortable and has all you need, including two beach umbrellas and beach chairs in the downstairs storage section. The washer and dryer was nice to have and the outdoor shower felt great after spending time on the beach. The only thing missing is a dishwasher, but that really wasn't a big deal as we ate our lunch at the beach and had dinner out
