Bonito Breeze is only a short four-block walk to the oceanfront waves of beautiful Carolina Beach. Stroll to Ocean Grill and Tiki Bar or Granny's Country Kitchen within two minutes. For the walkers in your crew, you'll never need to move the cars! The famous Carolina Beach Boardwalk, with all its shops, bars, and restaurants, is a 1.2-mile walk. There will be plenty of oysters at The Shuckin Shack, and cold beers at the Fat Pelican along the way. Hang Ten Grill, the weekly Arts and Crafts festival on the lake, and farm fresh produce at the Veggie Wagon are all iconic spots along this walking trail. You are renting one side of a shared duplex. This eclectic and trendy beach rental features retro mod furnishings, easy-to-clean LVP flooring, and granite kitchen counters. The primary suite is a dream with a private porch. Nestled into a lovely neighborhood: sleep and traffic will be quiet, but you are still close walking distance to all the action.

Ground Level:
The home has a security camera monitoring the entry door.
Parking: Shared Driveway with parking on the right side for up to 3 vehicles. Garage Space for 1 Vehicle. Please do NOT park on the left side or block the entrance. Golf Carts Allowed. Outdoor shower, grassy yard, outdoor shaded seating area with seating vignette. The entry door is at the back of the garage area to the interior stairwell.

Level 2:
Living Room: sectional queen sleeper sofa, side chairs, coffee table, ceiling fan, wall-mounted smart TV, sliding doors to front covered porches where you can smell the salt sea air and hear the waves.
Ocean Side Porch: al fresco dining vignette
Kitchen- granite counters, double stainless steel sink with pull spray faucet, dishwasher, electric range, microwave, fully equipped for cooking meals at home, bar top with seating for 4.
Bedroom 1 Queen-size bed, wall-mounted TV, ceiling fan.
Guest Bath: bathtub and shower, single vanity, toilet.
Washer and Dryer: Located in the hallway.

Level 3:
Bedroom 2: Primary Bedroom Suite: Private sun deck, king-size bed, smart TV, side chair, ceiling fan, ensuite bathroom with double vanity and a shower/tub combo.
Bedroom 3: Full over Full Bunk Beds with twin trundle.
Guest Bath: Vanity with shower/tub combo.

Linens - Sheets and Towels will be wrapped in sealed packages and lying on the end of the beds.

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.

Things to bring:
Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.

Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Check-out is by 10 am.
We adhere to this policy, so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Guest Access:
Electronic lock on the right side duplex.

House Rules:
No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities
No smoking
You must be at least 25 to rent this unit.

Pet Policy:
Up to two dogs allowed, no more than 75lbs. The first dog is included in the price of the Rental. Subsequent dogs subject to additional payment! Carolina and Kure Beaches are pet-friendly, but you must follow town guidelines. Please check the town website for beach pet restrictions.

Cancellation Policy:
We want to make sure you’re aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.

Neighborhood

Adventure awaits on Pleasure Island. Exploring the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, home to incredible coastal wildlife, or take the scenic car ferry across the Cape Fear River for a relaxing visit to the charming town of Southport where quaint streets are filled with unique antique shops and galleries. History lovers can walk the scenic, live‑oak‑lined trails of the Fort Fisher State Historic Site, where Civil War bunkers still stand. Nature enthusiasts will love the island’s two state‑managed coastal preserves: Carolina Beach State Park, home to rare Venus flytraps found naturally only in this region, and the Fort Fisher State Recreation Area, known for pristine beaches, marshes, and wildlife viewing. Both offer beautiful opportunities for hiking, paddling, fishing, and spotting pelicans or even nesting loggerhead sea turtles.

In summer, enjoy weekly fireworks and live entertainment, carnival rides, family nights, and Flamingo BINGO. Off‑season brings signature island events like the Cape Fear Kite Festival, Christmas by the Sea, and the Island of Lights Festival. Getting Around

Getting around Pleasure Island is a breeze! While parking can be limited in peak season, especially in popular spots, paid private or public parking is available. We recommend exploring Carolina Beach and Kure Beach on foot or by bike – they're super walkable and bike-friendly. You'll find safe pedestrian and bike routes, including the Island Greenway. Renting a golf cart or bike is easy, too, with several local rental companies. Golf carts are one of the easiest ways to cruise around the island. Rentals are simple to arrange, and once you're behind the wheel, you can zip along any road posted 35 mph or under.

Perfect Family Getaway at Bonito Breeze!

"We had a wonderful stay at Bonito Breeze in Carolina Beach! The rental was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very kid-friendly — perfect for our group of 5 adults and 2 children under 6. The beds were all comfortable, including the bunk beds that the kids loved. The home was surprisingly spacious, offering plenty of room for everyone to hang out together and find a little peace and quiet when needed. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, and we liked having the outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach. We also enjoyed grilling out on the grill and relaxing on the patio furniture in the lovely outdoor space. Parking was plentiful and convenient, and the neighborhood was nice, quiet, and just a short, easy walk to the sand. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for a family getaway!
