Are there any changes in your cancellation policy due to COVID?

We are continually trying to adjust to make sure each reservation can feel comfortable booking their trip without the fear of losing money. For reservations booked on or after May 22, 2020, we have adjusted our cancellation policy to reflect the following:  *Travelers who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will receive 100% of the amount they've paid (less a $75.00 cancellation fee). Note* Airbnb guests - can cancel at least 60 days before check-in and get a 50% refund of the nightly rate but not the service fee. The Airbnb service fee is not refundable.  

If the governor closes everything again, what does that mean for our reservation?  Would we get a total refund?

If our beaches re-implement the ban on short term rentals, we will re-introduce our COVID-19 Cancellation Policy which is the guest has the option to re-book future dates within the same property in 2020, subject to rate changes.  If the we cannot accommodate a different date for you because of a ban on short term rentals, you will be entitled to a full refund.

My state is under a Stay at home order or I can’t travel due to my company’s policy?

We will try and work with each reservation and if you are unable to make the trip due to your state having a shelter in place order.  Our first step would be to try and re-book your dates for a different date in 2020 (cost may change due to weekly rate change).  If unsuccessful,  we will open up the dates on the calendar and try to re-book the property.  If we are able to re-book the dates, you will receive a refund (less a $75.00 cancellation fee), otherwise,  you would not receive a refund.

Do you anticipate pools - indoor and outdoor - being open?  How will people socially distance?

This is up to the HOA ‘s discretion. Some of our communities pools are working to open in next week or two, with guests being asked to monitor their social distancing.  Others are not opening for fear of liability and possible spread.  We just can't predict or determine.  


We purchased the travel insurance - would we be able to cancel for ANY reason and receive a refund?

The final decision rests with the Insurance provider but you have a better chance of being insured if you have a valid reason. For example, contracted COVID-19 or other illness that has resulted in your inability to make your vacation.


What kind of extra cleaning measures are you taking?

We have adopted CDC recommended cleaning products and our inspectors are going through properties prior to guests arrival wiping down all commonly touched area with disinfectant wipes.  You can view our cleaning video below
